I still think many are sleeping on the Sucs. They finished strong last year and have started strong in 2010. So yeah I want to see the Bucs lose. No team has won the South with less than a 4-2 division record so a Buc loss would give us an edge in that department. Plus I still think I hate them more than the Aints, who I loathe.

Then you risk sleeping on the Saints. Without knowing the future the most ideal situation is for them to split their games. We don't want a situation where we need TB to beat the saints on the road when the saints might be healthier than they are now.

I apologize if this has already been discussed.

I'm just wondering what the majority viewpoint is? Who would you rather see win this Sunday? Saints are visiting Bucs. I automatically thought "Go Bucs"! But on Second thought, that would bring the Bucs to 4-1 and they come to the GA Dome week 9. I think the Saints are still a better team than the Bucs, but this is a tough call for me.

Oh and obviously a tie would be the best result possible.

Gotta go with Bucs. Saints can turn it on any week and Bucs can self-destruct at any time. No brainer IMO. No offense at all.

Definitely want the Bucs to pull out a victory on this one. We need the Saints in as deep a hole as possible before they get healthy.

Tracy Porter - Out

Pierre Thomas - Out

Reggie Bush - Out

Darren Sharper - Out

Drew Brees - Ailing (it is obvious to everyone)

All those guys are a big piece of that team, and without them they will struggle until healthy. Once healthy, we COULD see the Saints of old come back. It would be wise to have a 3 game lead on them at least.

I would rather see the Bucs win. Lets be honest, they seem like kind of a fluke(like denver last year). I would rather put some distance between us and the Taints...

IF THE BUCS WIN, THEN THE SAINTS ARE 0-2 IN OUR DIVISION IN 6 WEEKS, THATS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO COME BACK FROM IF THREE TEAMS ARE PLAYING WELL, AND WHEN WE WIN THIS SUNDAY, THAT WOULD MAKE THEM TWO GAMES BEHIND US....

BUCS ALL DAY, THEN WHEN WE PLAY THEM WE STOMP THERE A** AND TAKE THIS DIVISION FOR OURSELVES... B)

Turn off the caps. The saints would be 1-2 if they lost since this is their third division game of the season.

So far, the Falcons and Bucs are undefeated within the division...if the Saints win this weekend, the Bucs no longer will be...leaving the Falcons as the only undefeated division team with all possible tiebreakers in that scenario...I don't think you will have to worry about the Panthers (Falcons should sweep them) and at least split with the Bucs and Saints, if not sweep one or the other...either way it seems as though from the Falcons standpoint, they would be better off being assured that all three of the other teams in the division have losses after this weekend...and my viewpoint on this is not related to being a Saints fan; it just seems like the logical outcome that you would want for the Falcons to be in the best position IMO...

That only matters if you think there is a chance they can stay undefeated. The ideal situation for any team in any division is for their counterparts to split all their games. If the saints beat the bucs on the road they could easily do it again at the end of the season at home. If the panthers can't beat the saints at home then that is 4 possibly wins for the saints. Not an ideal situation if they come back healthy and ready to play.

The bucs have a long season ahead of them since their bye was so early. I think they are over-achieving right now and could fade as the season progresses.

The saints may or may not get it together but getting a bunch of injured players back and giving Brees a week to sit in the near future can't hurt them any.

Well, it is probably true that the Bucs will not continue at the level they have demonstrated so far...I believe they are improved, but not quite at the point where they have a really legitimate chance of being able to win the division...the thing is, out of all four teams in the division, the Falcons so far have looked the best...now the Saints could rebound and start playing with a semblance of the form they showed last season, but I'm not convinced or overconfident that they can and/or will...

The way things are looking right now, it would seem that the Falcons will go at least

5-1 in the division (possibly 6-0, but you never know what might happen.)

As long as the Saints are considered to be the greatest threat to the Falcons' success, though, no matter that they haven't looked like last year's team up until now, I can understand the rationale of desiring a Saints loss while the team is still struggling in order to have a cushion over them if they do improve...

You should drop the act. You are not a convincing saints fan at all.

Lol Finally...maybe not a convincing one, but one nonetheless...I just try not to act like other Saints fans...and I enjoy discussing football in general from the point of view of other teams as well as my own...
