Atlfanstckndenver
I remember having discussions a many prior to the season starting. Everything from Moore being the next Adrian Wilson to him being the biggest bust of the Dimitrov era. I even remember hearing from one "older" Forum member even mentioning the idea to switch DeCoud with Coleman, and put Coleman at FS because comparing the twos stats Coleman wasnt exactly the Physical presence we where looking for to fill the Strong Safety spot. Regardless of what was said then, this is now. The reality of the position has changed. William Moore is now officially the starter on the depth chart even with Coleman back to health. I am curious to see how everyone's opinion of Moore has changed now that we have actually had a barely large enough sample size to begin judging him. There is no denying his physical brand of ball. Personally i really think this is the type of safety that this defense has needed for a while. I sincerely cant remember the last time the Falcons have had this type of talent at safety. I just wanna see how you guys feel about Willi Mo.
ConnFalcon
My opnion is he is a ball hawk, and a hard hitter. This is a player I have been dreaming of having for a long time. I was PUMPED when we drafted him, and I am even more pumped now that everything is coming together for him.He is going to be a big time player for us for years to come. He is a playmaker and runs around like a headhunter. Great speed, "feels" the field, always around the ball and has the knock-out punch. He will allow our defense to be even more aggressive because the there wont be any fear of getting beat deep. I am very excited to see him develop and mature. Probably gonna be a probowler in the future. JMHO

I screamed at the TV during the draft to take him last year. And now, he's playing exactly the way I expected him to play.
slamee101
That he's a stud (no homo) and I'm glad he's finally healthy b/c I think he's gonna continue to be a gamechanger. That's me though...don't know how the rest of y'all feel. blackredfellow
I was PUMPED when we drafted him, and I am even more pumped now that everything is coming together for him.I was really pumped when we got him. This is two drafts in a row that we got the player i was really hoping for with Moore and Spoon(I really wanted Moore in round 1 in '09!!). FalconFromSpain
if he doesn't get hurt, watch out, we have one of the best pair of safeties in the league for a long time.
Atlfanstckndenver
I do remember debating some posters that would tell me that this "walking band aid" will never see the field. Also i kept hearing that Thomas' risk taking in the draft will catch up to him. I remember specifically reading that with taking Moore Dimitrov was just going too far trying to get a great talent at a cheap price. Atlfanstckndenver
With William Moore and Spoon added to this defense we really did set up two positions for the long run with speed, physicallity, toughness as well as two constant motors that will fly all over the field. My favorite part about both of these Mizz products is that they both just plain lay the wood.
maxatlanta
Dude is coming along, he just needs "Moore" playing time.Exactly. He's looked fantastic so far. But "so far" is only a few games. Everyone knew he was a playmaker, the only things he has to prove are simply staying healthy and not have breakdowns for big plays. But like I said, he's done that and more so far. bighurt
Moore is playing better than Decoud right now. I think we are not using him enough on defense. I think he is our Troy P or Ed Reed player on the defense. We need to allow him to be the X factor in our scheme, like the Steelers use Troy. This is the reason TD drafted him, he has stated in the past how much he loves a play making safety and mentioned by name Troy P.
G-Wiz22
i'm a bigtime WilyMo fan n i'm pumped to have him running with the 1st team however....i'm a EC26 fan also and i wud've much rather WilyMo start the 1st game of the year instead of EC26 losing his spot by injury. one good thing about that so far is that 'rollin with coleman' seems to b ok with it so far and hopefully we wont hear any noise about playing time. this cud actually b EC26's last year with the falcons! freebird310
He's gonna be huge for us if he remains healthy ...his junior year he was the highest rated safety in the country, alot of people forget that he got hurt and played gimpy his senior year, or he would have gone in the first round. My god, what an up and coming defense we got now, give it a year or two, these guys are gonna be an actual "elite" defense .... Dr. Billings
Moore is playing solid in the defensive backfield. I would like to see him play the run a little better. Now I was one that would criticize Willy when he was injured. I am willing to admit I was wrong. He hasn't reached his peak. But he could be the best safety in franchise history; if he continues to improve and stay healthy.THERE I SAID IT!
Tootie Quivers
Worst Case:-Remains injury prone and never realizes full potentialBest Case:-Becomes a star in the NFL.Most Likely:-Really, really good safety possibly making a pro bowl or two.***I am really excited about Moore. I hope he isn't bitten by the injury bug throughout his career. I think he has star power. What makes Polamalu and Reed so popular are the plays they make. They are always on the highlight reel. Moore has already been on the highlight reel twice in his 4 games. He can also lay the wood.
Rai
Worst Case:-Bob SandersBest Case:-#1 Safety in the NFLMost Likely:-Polamalu-levelMoore's potential is higher than even that of Troy.
falconfanEST1989
i think by him sitting out last year due to injury it made him more hungry. that mixed with him being passed by every team makes him out to prove a point. he was once considered a early first round safety and he is showing that he couldve lived up to the hype
JD dirtybird21
I've always really liked Moore, and I'm pleased with his performance, he's opportunistic and has good ball skills.

gotta-get-it
The guy is a beast...I've already noticed that teams are actually throwing away from him and at DeCoud. I think DVG needs to let him roam around on the field more instead of keeping him in the same spot. But he probably will once Moore gets more confortable..and guys thats the scary thing about Moore he is still playing not to mess up, once he's comfortable out there we will have us a top 5 safety THIS YEAR IMO Edited October 13, 2010 by gotta-get-it
