Are there any Falcons fans in the Phoenix area??

I'm creating a facebook group with this name "Falcons fans in the Phoenix area" to organize events to watch the falcons game at sports bars in the area.. I was watching the bears vs green bay in week 3 at a bar and just saw how the bears fans were having a lot of fun for being all gathered in one place.. I thought we can do something similar...

Not from Phoenix, but I will be there this weekend. Staying just north of dntown, nearby the Colonade Mall. Where's a good place to go to watch the Falcons?

Cool thing is if the map is accurate at http://the506.com/sports/?tag=2010-week-6, we should be able to get the Falcons-Eagles locally in Phx this Sunday.

As my username suggests, I'm in the Phoenix area. I'm not on Facebook, though, and don't have any plans to join.

I usually watch the Falcons at Padre Murphy's (43rd & Bell, northwest side) and am, along with a family member or two, usually the only Falcons fan there. However, I'm advised that the Half Moon Sports Grill at 2121 East Highland (Biltmore area) has a small but energetic bunch of Falcons fans. I'll probably be there for the Bengals game.

I live in Tempe so Half Moon is way closer to me the Padre Murphy's... I guess I'll check it out this Sunday.. And their breakfast menu looks good :)

I guess like what JOEinPHX has said.. Half moon sports bar sounds like a good place.. it's only 10 minutes away from you.. you go west on camelback and turn left on 21st st then right on Highland Ave and the bar will be on your left..I'll be there on Sunday most probably wearing a roddy white jeresy.. I feel him scoring 2 TDs..

I'm in Scottsdale, I usually watch the game on the internet. It's the only way I can be sure that some doofus bar manager doesn't turn the Falcons off so that the Vikings/Bears fans can have 5 TVs instead of 4. In 07 I missed 3/4 of opening day because I had to stop by 5 bars to find one with the Falcons playing, they had it on like a 21 inch TV way in the back of the bar.

I too watch them online but sometimes it's more fun to watch it with other fans. Devils advocate as well as the Tavern on Mill always have all games on and you'll watch your game until its finished not matter what.. the only drawback is the lack of volume.. But I guess I was thinking if we were the majority we can have the volume tuned to our game.

I'm in Tempe as well. For years I tried to meet up with other "fans" around here but I would wake up on Sunday and low and behold 10 am would be too early for them to go out, so I just ended up dumping Cox and getting Direct TV for the Sunday ticket.

I've been to pretty much every sports bar in the east valley at one point or another to watch the games and the most Falcons fans I've seen at one point was at Tilted Kilt on Warner and Kyrene.

Been there twice this year (once for UGA vs Tenn and the Niners vs Falcons) and it was still a pretty nice spot as sports bars go.
