2nd week in a row Falcons opponent QB a mystery

Kind of odd, for the 2nd week in a row the Falcons head into a game............a ROAD game, no less...........and don't know what QB they will face.

I feel sorry for VanGorder and Smitty, not the easiest thing in the world to deal with.

Will it be Kolb...............or Vick ??? They may not know till 10 min. after kickoff.

WHAT DO WE CARE? WE'LL TAKE'EM BOTH ON! B)

It's pretty much a guarentee that Kolb will be starting.

Vick says he wants to play but theres a good chance he'll be out another 2 weeks as his injury is a slow healing and very painful to play with.

Anyways I have no problem with Kolb as the QB except for the fact that he does'nt get the ball to DeSean(3 catches in 2 games).

Oh really.............say's WHO ???

Medical science.

That's an injury that normally takes 6 weeks to recover from, even if your job isn't going out and getting slammed by 300 pound dudes.

There is no way he is playing. Any suggestion that he might is just smoke and mirrors by the Eagles. And actually, they aren't even trying that hard.

I though for sure it would have to be Kolb, but after hearing some recent speculation from talking heads, I'm not so sure.

Kolb played well last night.

We'll have our hands full either way......

I don't see any way that it's going to be Vick. If he truly is Reid's choice for starting QB the Eagles would be idiotic to place a guy with rib damage out here against a young, fast, hard-hitting defense.

One solid shot from William Moore could put Vick out for the rest of the year.

I don't think that the Eagles and Reid are that stupid.

Eagles, Ravens & Packers are 3 big non-divisional games. At least we get the Ravens & Packers @ home. I would say the Eagles game is the biggest but I'm biased. I really hate the Eagles.

Ravens game a possible preview of the SB? It's possible! That's game #9, a Thursday night game and I'm planning to BE THERE!:)

Agree.

Can't ya just picture Vick on bended knee begging Andy to play Sunday ?? I'm sure he had this game on his mind big time ever since the schedules were released in April.

They said last night that Andy Reid said Vick has been healing nicely, and there's a good chance he could start against us if he continues to heal well over this week.

Why?

because it's his ex-team, he's a competitor, and like any other competitor you want the people who dropped you to feel like they made a mistake. win or lose I doubt Blank gives two ****s about what he did years ago, but it would be silly to think Vick wasn't highlighting this game, especially once he got the starter status.

I am pretty sure that Michael Vick knows that the Falcons did what they had to do, and didn't make "a mistake". There is no possible way the franchise could have kept him on board. He knows it. And he knows he did it to himself too.

But I do know there are some people who think the Falcons somehow wronged him, and although I am sorry for him that he is injured, I am not sorry that the Falcons won't have to deal with the circus of playing him this week.

yeah, of course, deep down he probably knows that. just like deep down Keith Brooking knows he wasn't playing well in this scheme, deep down D-Hall knows he was a bigger distraction than an asset, Boley knew this, Dunn knew that...doesn't mean they don't come with a little extra effort. it's like the ex-girlfriend syndrome...you could've cheated on her and treated her like **** but whenever you're out and about you want to make sure she sees you with someone better though. and we will still probably get a million stories about maybe Vick playing...then again, ESPN and the likes have been trying their hardest to NOT talk about us, wouldn't be surprised if we're just an afterthought.
