How Many Times Did the Commentators Screw Up Today?

Recommended Posts

They also said Abraham got a sock.

Things like that don't bother me, that's just a slip of the mouth. Talking for as long as they do, you're bound to make errors like that.

It's the flat out mistakes that annoy me, confusing Babineaux with his brother, calling Kroy a rookie etc.

Getting paid to do a job, and failing so often is annoying.

I just found it funny.

Actually, I have been noticing this alot through out this season in several games besides the Falcons games, too. I do not know what it is, but it seems there is a full moon out every week in these games. I like Harry Carson and Ben Decoud. I also think Jordan Babineaux did a wonderful job today. Many people keep thinking Anthony Gonzalez is a faux de pau, but it isn't. That is his name. Tony is short for Anthony in many cases. I thought people knew this; just like Mike is short for Michael in many cases

First we had 'the underrated Jordan Babineaux', so underrated they couldn't get his name right the first time...

We have 'the rookie' Kroy Biermann intercept a pass.

Before the 4th quarter started when we went to break they points out 'Atlanta needs to more scores'.

I honestly didn't notice today. I watch it with a slight delay and zoom through the commercials and the brain dead commentary between plays.

Thats his real name, u fail

Tony is just short for Anthony. Like mike is for michael or chris is for christopher ect.

No Sh*t. Thanks For Stating The Obvious.

I Never Heard Anyone Call Him 'Anthony' Was Wierd Hearing It.

Tony Just Sounds Better. And I Had The Feeling They Confused The Name With A Certain Colt's WR.

Just wondering!!!!!

In 2008 the Falcons signed an UDFA WR Anthony Gonzales, they let him go in Mid July 08. IS this the same guy that is now with the Colts??????

Tony might be short for Anthony, but these announcers are just screwing up. No one calls the guy Anthony Gonzalez. Just like no one calls other players Matthew Ryan, Sharrod White, Samuel Baker, or Michael Peterson.

Exactly... The Sharrod White Is A Great Point. Thank You.
