iDash
If the Panthers lose and slip to 0-5, there could be rumblings next week of putting several stars on the trading block. How about injured WR Steve Smith to the Patriots? And with RB DeAngelo Williams in the final year of his contract, do the Panthers want to sign him to a long-term deal or trade him? Williams would be the perfect back for the Packers because he can run and catch very well out of the backfield. Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, whose sons are no longer working for the team, doesn't have any long-term plans in place with both coach John Fox and GM Marty Hurney in the last year of their contracts. You almost wonder if Richardson is looking for a buyer for his franchise, or possibly a part-owner.Read more: http://gridironfans.com/forums/latest-nfl-headlines/142759-panthers-have-fire-sale-if-they-go.html#ixzz11yCX5usfTeam HomeRosterDepth ChartStatisticsStandingsInjury ReportCoachesStaffHistory History Home Head Coaches Assistant Coaches All-Time Roster Hall of Honor Honors Players of the Week Pro Bowl Team-by-Team Results Preseason Results All-Time Leaders Season Records Single Game Bests Chronology Expansion Draft College Draft Free Agency Trades Player Roster ShareMySpacedel.icio.usFacebookRedditDiggStumbleUponGoogleLinkURL: PrintEmail * Required fieldAllow up to 5 recipientsRecipient Email * Send up to 5 emails, separate emails with a commaSender Name Sender Email * Send Me a Copy Message Check out what I've been looking at. FalconFanSince1970
If it's anyone from the Panties I would say one of their Olinemen, Beason or Smith.
m cooper 22
How brilliant would our line be if we swung Baker to RT and managed to somehow miraculously get Gross as our LT - what with Clabo's and Dahl's contract being in the last year.So unlikely, but I'd love it. duncja
The player I would want above any others from Carolina is Jon Beason.
didz
If we got Jon Beason, that would be the most sickest and scariest line backing group in the world today. Beason reminds me of Lofton already, but to pair him up with Spoon and Lofton, wow! That would be a dream of a team right there. All fast, all fly to the ball, all hit hard and all make plays. miKevicK777
deangelo williams isnt going anywhere that easily, if he does get traded, then thats going to take a shhhload to acquire him. hes a top 3 back in the league IMO.anyways i guess jordan gross
kibitzer
Gross, if he is their LT. Has to be an upgrade. And def Beason. Both would bring benefits to the team.
Falcon Fanatic
Panties aren't stupid enough to trade any of their marquee players to a hated divisional rival where it would come back to haunt them twice a year every year they play us. Not going to happen.

JRid
Am I the only one who has been hoping the panthers will start winning a few games? I'm not saying I wont them to go on a winning streak, but I just want them to win enough to not get a top 5 draft pick. If the Panthers get AJ Green I will be very upset. Any top 5 pick for them will be bad.

A-TowN.-
lol did someone just assume there'd be a firesale? They wouldn't get rid of their best players, they are trying to win and get better not sell out their players. JMO but who knows.Beason or Jordan Gross would be the best thing for us from that team. Probably Steve Smith too.
FalconFan13
In all seriousness a player i think we could get for a reasonable price is Charles Johnson at DE. The guy has alot of talent would help our DE rotation and a possible replacement for abe in the future. Im just thinking of a more reasonable guy they would probably let go. MattM12
Ryan Kalil is a very good young center... very good and i'm surprised no one has thought of that one cz of McClure's age
st4ngeI2
I would be all-over Williams...he and Turner would be perfect...we need some more speed in our backfield...the bruising can only get you so far and with Norwood likely not coming back next season...just sayin'
