falconsfaninfresno
LinkBEREA, Ohio (AP)—Browns running back Peyton Hillis(notes) has been added to Cleveland’s injury report with an unspecified thigh injury.Hillis, who has rushed for more than 100 yards the past two weeks, had limited participation in Thursday’s practice. Hillis apparently got hurt following the 30 minutes of practice open to reporters.Hillis has been the Browns’ top offensive player through four weeks. He rushed for a career-high 144 yards two weeks ago against Baltimore, and followed that up by running for 102 to help Cleveland get its first win this season, 23-20 over Cincinnati.Hillis was not on the injury report Wednesday. The Browns acquired Hillis in March in a trade with Denver for quarterback Brady Quinn(notes). stripedss
But you aren't playing in the game. Ask the coaches and they will tell you they would rather play them without Hillis...

unconquered.
well, at least now we can send Moore head first into his thigh and call it a day. :ph34r:Taking a page right from the Saints lol.But honestly we'll be getting lucky if this slows him down. He's so big this injury will put a dent in his armor.

Abe
When I think of Hillis I think of someone on this board with a sig that had him and Coleman on it. I don't remember who it was but it had a comment with something like, Eric Coleman will kill you...
MagnusXXIII
Despite the hype ... We would totally do better against Hillis ... Not any team ... Just our team ...

BruceReville
First 2 games he rushed 15 total times - last 2 games he rushed 49 total times -- Wonder if that may have anything to do with it - Cadillac Williams was a stud until Gruden drove his wheels off in Tampa. delaigle
I just checked the injury report for thursday on AF.com and Hillis is not on it.the only Browns thigh injury was RB Harrison with full participation. Robb4242
Dude you sound like the kid that ran and told the teacher everything that went on in the back of the class. point was I rather we them with all their starters and stop Hillis on the ground like Tampa and Baltimore did.You do know that Hillis ran for 144 yards and a 6.5ypc average against Baltimore. Tampa was week 1 and they didn't run him but 9 times. The last 2 weeks however (Baltimore & the Bengals), he has averaged 24.5 carries and a 5.02ypc average. Baltimore didn't do much stopping Hillis. sporkdevil
Schefter just said he will be fine on Sunday.Adam_Schefter Adam Schefter RT @Stephania_ESPN: Hillis showed up on report (thigh). No details ... Not considered serious, Stephania. Leg muscle strain. Good by Sunday. And I just got home, so "just said" means two hours ago. Duff_Man
There is nothing dorkier than saying "I'd rather play them at full strength." No. You don't. Injuries happen. If it helps us, I am all for it. I could care less what their lineup is.

I want to Win and if Hillis is out then that increases our chances of winning, it is all about winning - whether it is at full strength or half strength, my preference is half strength - I want a Superbowl

If it helps us, I am all for it. I could care less what their lineup is.I hate those comments as well. This came up during the saints game where people said they would rather Bush play so the Saints fan can't make excuses. Who really cares what the Saints fans say/think. (Or anyalysts)I don't care if we beat the Browns practice squad, a win is a win...
muskokas finest ©
Harrison is back if Hillis can't go 30 carries. I just hope to avoid getting burned for the one big play per game we seem to be giving up.

One thing I admired last season was that when the Falcons played the Saints and came closing to beating them both times, no one on this board was crying about the injured players that we were without. People here could have whined about no Turner, no Ryan, etc., but didn't. Thus, it peeves me to hear other teams' fans play the injury card when they lose. So, all in all, in a perfect world, I'd much rather have both teams at full strength and avoid the whiners.Signed, Fred the Dork

I don't want players to be hurt but if it happens and we benefit from it that is fine with me. I only care that we leave them healthy enough to try and beat the Saints in a few weeks.
