mistermist
Just saw on the home page. He was limited in practice today with a knee injury. If ge can't go Sunday we need spoon back for sure. Shift Pete to the middle and we can make do. Here's hoping its nothing serious.
birds_till_death
The style and way payton hillis has been running, this would be an extremley painful injury for us. We have built up good depth so far on the team, but are still thin in some areas, like MLB

slamee101
I was surprised to see him on the injury report as well, but I hope he'll be alright. In my gut I think he'll be ready on Sunday though.
blkbigdog35
Lofton is a baller and I think he will be ready come sunday!!
FalconPio
Just my opinion but I believe that there is nothing wrong with taking precautionary measures in between gamedays. I believe he will be out there also

We have built up good depth so far on the team, but are still thin in some areas, like MLBI think spoon Pete and nic can handle it. Not saying I want these three out there every Sunday, but in a pinch I think they will be alright. That being said, we would obviously.be much better with 50 in the line up. And I'm hoping he'll be ready to go on Sunday. Get healthy Curtis.

mistermist
I didn't get to watch the game on Sunday. Did he have to come out, take plays off, etc ?
Arkansas Falcon
I think that Curtis will be ready to go along with everybody else come Sunday.
sporkdevil
My opinion: If he was really injured, we would have kept Robert James for at least depth purposes for the week. We haven't signed anyone, so the injuries to Spoon and Lofton must not be bad.

sporkdevil
Good point. They just moved James to the practice squad, so they don't hate him for the banned substance thing. Could have just as easily put him on the active roster.
since68andcounting
I saw him go down in the game. He slowly got back up, and never left the field. But you could tell he was beat up at that point. He missed a tackle on Gore on a play shortly afterward. I'm surprised SF didn't see it and try to target him a little more. So I had a feeling he would miss a day or so this week. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Knee doesn't sound good tho.
Bring It
Tues. AM on Sirius NFL Radio Smitty said that this was a "rare" week in that ALL 53 players came away from the 49er's game injury free and that ALL 53 will go to practice on Wed. He stressed that this is a rarity. If Lofton is indeed hurt why would he make that comment ??

sandtrap
He is not only a key piece of our defense but the leader. I'm sure this is an instance where Abe got substantial time off btwn games to rest up. Here's to hoping!
