It's a fact that we missed the feild goal. But we are over it. It wasn't a saint fan that started this thread.

and not being physical enough. How many wussy Saints players got hurt in that game?

Elam cost us a few last year so I feel that pain, but Saints didn't deserve to win that game anyway giving up 200 yds rushing.

Stats don't matter. Only the final score. But you would't have 200 yards had we made the kick.

You have to admit, it's still cute though. You know, all this optimism, talk of championships, hall of fame inductions for Ryan, White, and Witherspoon being only a mere formality after the required waiting period, and a weekly check of the power rankings first thing Tuesday morning to make sure the media is buying into it so that your insecurities can be held temporarily in check. Yes, it's a great time to be a Falcon fan, nevermind we're only 4 games in.

Conversely, celebrating a week 3 overtime victory like it's the Super Bowl is quite a compliment to us. BTW, I wouldn't have known Witherspoon played if I wouldn't have read it on this board.

Calling you guys "upstarts" was my attempt at a little sarcasm since the Saints themselves haven't exactly been perennial contenders throughout their history (I know it's hard to believe since Saints fan carry themselves so professionally,but it's true!) It was a good game and the Falcons deserved the victory. It's perfectly understandable that you guys are excited about the way the season has started.
