sharky
I know it's like beating a dead horse but I don't mine talking about it again, or however long it takes until the problem goes away. Why are we running Turner sideways instead of straight ahead? Why can't we get HD the ball more often? Why don't we have more screan plays to Turner/Snelling? I know we're not the only ones who see this. The last question is, why is MM still here? The games shouldn't even be that close, but thank goodness for our defense. ki46dinah
Its also gotta be Mularkey's fault that Ryan threw 2 very untimely INT's yesterday?I'm sure its Mularkey's fault too that Ryan hasn't been able to consistently hit the deep ball to wide open receivers in 2 years?I thought only 1 call was a poor, poor call yesterday...and that was the toss right with Turner that resulted in a 5 yard loss. We were killing them up the gut, and we ran a toss play that had no hope off the opening snap.

But it's early and as long as we are winning games while we figure it out then I am fine with it. I would like to see Snelling get more carries. HD be pissing me off at times with that drop pass crap but I think he will be fine. We defiantly need to run more screens, I don't know what world MM be living in at times. But other then that I am happy. We could be 1-3 right now with a non clicking offense so I will take a 3-1 record with a non clicking offense and just hope they get better as the games goes. I know we are a run first offense but sometimes you have to get away from it, I guess it's called adjusting. Most teams have the screen play in their book and use it at least two, three, or more in a game, we don't. Why not?
The O.D.B
I'm of the same opinion, However, I really think our opposition has been throwing the house at Matt. If you bring almost everyone to the QB then shutting down the run becomes easier. Matt should be able to punish teams for this and make them abandon this approach. As it is he's not punishing them bad enough to make them stop, He lets them get close enough to making something happen that they stick with it. He is however doing enough to win the games so hopefully this is just making him better for what he will face down the road.

kane#7
In my opinion we miss JENKINS...1. Passing he is a big body that Cb's do not enjoy going up against and he can get a few catches a game but he also opens up the middle of the field for HD to do his work in2. Running look at every long run that Turner has had they all have one thing in common Jenkins either gets the key block on a DB or he is running with him in the open field still trying to put a block on a man to spring him for a TD..As much as everyone on this board for some reason doesn't rate him..I think we are all finally seeing why the coaching staff and FO like him... For some reason HD is not getting enough touches.
