SatJackSA_ATLFAN
To be honest, this is almost his rookie season? 4th game, i dont think DT is the hardest position to learn in the NFL, but i reckon we give a bit more time. DT's do lots of hard work without any credit, would be interested to see a snap by snap review of his performance before judgement.

Mr Pickle1
I've been leading the hate parade on Jerry. I'd seen nothing to this point to think he was worth a 1st.However, today was a solid effort. He's still the least used DT on the team, except for Lewis, BUT, I saw improvement today from the past few games. He played stouter on the line today, I saw him hold up against a couple double teams decently, and he fired off a bit quicker. He still had some plays where he just looked completely impotent, but I saw flashes of a solid reserve tackle today. I can see him working out like J. Anderson: Not the guy we thought we were getting, not a real impact player, but a solid reserve is a valuable part of this team.Still, he and Baker are the 2 worst picks of the Dimitroff era. They may be still on the team, unlike Jackson, but there's a big difference in investment between 1st rounders and 3rd rounders. As of this moment, Jerry is the 4th best DT on this team, a fact born out by having the least number of snaps. He won't be 100% until next year. That is when we can truly evaluate him in my opinion. I think he's going to be better than JA98 (**** he already is). Time will tell. MagnusXXIII
Jerry played ... But it appears the cs prefers Peters on most snaps opposite Babs.
atljbo
Do yall listen to Coach Smith ? lolCoach Smith has said multiple times that Peria will see between 15-20 snaps a game as a pass rusher until Peria and the staff feels like he is back to him normal self.... Coach said later on thru the year Peria will see around 30 snaps (starters snaps). So yes .. He is taking less snaps right now by design.... Give the man time. Anderson has been getting pressures, pushing the pocket, pushing back the LOS on run plays, etc. Jerry has done very, very little, including last year when he was healthy for a couple games. Peters looks better as a rook than Jerry did last year. That said, I really hope you're right. If he can turn into a probowl caliber penetrating tackle, we will have one of the very best D's in the league.

JayOzOne
will moore has been absent for a good stretch of time. along with jerry, baker and douglas. it would be nice for our rookies to have an impact but they just get hurt. i think he did better with the weatherspoon pick. im very happy with that one.Umm... But Weatherspoon is hurt.
msufalcon
took babs a while to get it together, HOWEVER I would like to remind everyone that the guy is 26 yr old so we do not have the luxury of time when most teams feel a first round pick should be entering their prime around this age. bad pick to me when it was obvious the next years DT draft class would be deepjust as this year is particularly deep at corner, DE, and WR so hopefully by the end of the year we will have a good idea if adding an elite talent at DE is needed (hopefully not) or a real number 2 WR who could stretch the field (baldwin maybe?)... LT not deep so I say look into later rounds

Ransack
It usually takes 3 years for a DT to come into his own in the NFL. This is essentially his rookie year along with Moore and Peters who are seeing extended playing time for the first time. We should be thankful to get ANY contributions from them. Next year and the year after is when the true judging comes along.
