Faithful Falcon
Maybe it would be cool if we were Vandy, but too much money is put into this program. Donnan and Goff are gone. They have all accomplished the same thing. No National Championship.

SacFalcFan
losing to colorado was beyond unacceptable.. that is one of the worst losses during cmr's 10 years..
Lennon
This has been a progressive downfall.. Richt has been unable to turnaround this progressive collapse at any point during the last 3 years. what makes you think it will get better? the fact that it can't get any worse? because THAT is the point in which changes must be made. lex7500
10.5 million worth it? I think he will get 1 more year bc of this unless of course he chooses to resign and settle for a lower buyout.
DefenseWinzCliche
Can you trace this to the UF game where we rushed the field? I feel like that's a huge turning point in UGA football. It totally worked out for the rest of that year. But starting then. We just went crazy in terms of being a penalty-laden undisciplined football team. On and off the field. It's when Black jerseys, NFL superstars, and a "let's have fun" football got it's *** kicked by disciplined, hard hitting, and well prepared football. He will be better suited for the ACC.

sdogg
if you think 1-4 is bad, wait til you see what 1-7 feels like.Sad..but true. I dont see UGA winning more than 3 games. No way can CMR survive that.
Falconsfan567
if you think 1-4 is bad, wait til you see what 1-7 feels like.Yep. With the way Tennessee played against LSU today that game has the makings to be very ugly and it doesn't get any easier for Georgia. If they don't beat Vanderbilt or Kentucky or both, Georgia could be looking at 0-8 in the SEC this year. Ouch!

Ouch! Tennessee did nothing special, LSU is easily one of the worst undefeated teams in the country.. LSU's mistakes kept Tennessee in the game.. in no way will Tennessee blowout UGA (but they may beat us)

LSU's mistakes kept Tennessee in the game.. in no way will Tennessee blowout UGA (but they may beat us)Right that LSU is pathetic and the fact that they are still undefeated (Thanks Vols for having 13 men on the field!) is a miracle but in the only little bit that I have seen of Tennessee this year they have looked solid. Now yes they got blown out by Oregon and I didn't see that game expect for the 1st quarter which they were solid and were holding Oregon's high powered offense down.Tennessee's defense is much better than expected this year and with Georgia's major offensive struggles this year and defensive struggles i can see the Vols jumping out to a couple touchdown lead and winning by at least 10 points 21-10 or something like that. Ransack
Here's what a 1-4 coach sounds like....Losing’s not good,” Richt said. “But there’s a lot of good things that came out of this, just as far as the effort and the attitude of this group. There’s a lot of things I could point to as a coach to be proud of as these guys. But the bottom line in football is wins and losses. And right now we haven’t gotten a win in awhile.”Bring it on in guys! Group Hug Time!!!!!

THAT was ugly, and Tennessee may very well have improved over the past week, but my guess is that LSU is just that bad.
slamee101
The bottom line is he's lost the team. He was struggling with ways to get them motivated for the past 2 seasons but I truly think they've tuned him out. This in addition to a questionable coaching staff (holding on to Martinez too long, Bobo, Van Halanger) has lead to this. I'm just curious to see how it plays out now but this game tonight sealed his fate.
