Controlling the clock, controlling the line of scrimmage. Mike Smith's objectives and strategy for winning.

He is Dan Reeves v 2.0, except that Smith has better personnel to work with.

Kinda feel bad for ol' Dan. Who remembers RIUTMCWD? ^_^

As a team, the Falcons are also tied for the league lead in first downs (with Houston) with 76, and we are second in the league in rushing yards per game. Just one yard behind KC for the season.

New Orleans is dead last in rushing yards per game. They are gaining 2.6 yards per attempt with a long of 12.

Offense has been very impressive these last two games. I think this is the Falcons team and offense a lot of us envisioned during the offseason. We just need to correct the breakdowns on defense in terms of the long touchdowns and well be absolutely dominant.

Amen. Maybe this week we'll finally not allow a touchdown of 50+ yards. ;)
