Photofalcon
I will be relocating from Atlanta to Seattle in July 2011, and was wondering if we had any people from this board in that area? Suggestions on where to watch the games, affordable housing, avoiding the freeze, or any other Seattle tips would be appreciated.I will probably go up for the Falcon's game on the 19th of Dec at Qwest. cali_fan420
I'm in Eugene, Oregon. I'm probably about 5 hours from Seattle and would love to go to that game with some fans. I do not know much about Seattle, but I do know about the Pacific northwest. Sell all of your clothes before you move, and buy everything with long sleeves. Seriously, you're looking at a good 8+ months of rain per year up there. The summer is basically 3 months of 90 degree weather. The best place to watch football, IMO, is in my living room. Photofalcon
Cool, I have a couple of friends living up there, but they are "artsy" types and not really into NFL football. One of them bought the tickets already, so I am hoping my schedule allows for the trip.
cali_fan420
That's very common for this general area. You'll also find that people in this general area (Washington\Oregon) are big into college football but they hate the NFL.
kevykev21
I'm in Portland too. Would LOVE to get to Seattle for the game.As it gets closer, let's try to hook that up and get a group going.
Romfal
My parents live in Seattle and I hope I can head over for the game in Dec as well. I will also move to Seattle next winter after I graduate. Thats the plan right now at least.as for the weather, buy rainx for your car windows and pick up a hobby for winter time when it's raining and theres nothing on the tube. If your in to skiing, hiking, fishing mountain biking and anything else outdoors, theres a lot of nice places for that weather permitting. You will love the summer though, guaranteed. If you want to see the falcons I think Direct TV is a must, if not, online has worked for me in recent times
