falcndave
I've cut out all of our 3rd and 4th down plays in which Ryan either threw or ran. Anyone want to share your thoughts on these plays? Here are my first few observations:1) Watching the game, I didn't realize he was in the shotgun almost exclusively on conversion downs.2) Ryan through a good mix of left, right, and center on these key plays. He has tended to favor throwing right in key situations in the past.3) If it was a conversion down, it went through Ryan (Exception of 2 Turner runs). What does this all mean to me?I can't tell you how big I think this game was for Ryan. With only 7 road wins under his belt, and no real examples of him being, "The Man," on the road, he stepped up HUGE in this game. This was the next step I have been looking for from Ryan. Go on the road and do whatever it takes, as often as you have to do it, to help your team win against top tier competition. I have always been a huge fan, but I have always felt he had to show it on the road. Now he has. The NFL better watch out. Now I'll start to utter "Franchise QB" when speaking of Ryan on a regular basis. Here are the plays. Tell me your thoughts on these situations. Eight Track
I'll bet you're a girl, mentally unstable and going to art school.Just kidding ... Excellent observations. Ryan is in a very predictable offense right now. I wonder how he puts up decent numbers at home or on the road.
