Well now that your third world phbb server has finally finished ishing the bed I can post my congratulatory remarks -

Be happy our schizo kicker missed from 27 yards out. That's all you get from me this time.

I DID plan on posting the archetypical "great game" screed, congratulating a solid performance and a hard-fought win but since your forum sucks and I had to wait until it's been shitposted up to the brim with WFL and Sean Weatherspoon flyover material to respond that's gonna have to do it.

take a look at the South Standings and Stats

Atlanta Falcons 2 1 0 .667 77 46

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2 1 0 .667 50 58

New Orleans Saints 2 1 0 .667 63 58

Carolina Panthers 0 3 0 .000 32 71

Falcons have scored the most pts in South and Gave up the Fewest

Falcons are also Top 5 in

Rushing

3rd down %

Ints

and Turnover %

those are game winning stats, which may explain why we sit atop the South heading into week 4

Well fleur you cant blame them really. We were 7-1 against them in the last eight contests and we won the superbowl before them. This is kinda all they have right now. Yesterday was the falcons superbowl. We will be fine.

I'm glad calling it our superbowl makes you feel better.

Let me post a small transcript of how we ACTUALLY felt about it, our team I mean of course.

Reporter Lady: I know you said it wasn't a measuring stick, but what does it mean for your team to come in here and beat the Saints away from home?

Matt Ryan: It was a good game, we beat a good team. It means we're 2-1, we have the 49ers next week and we're one step closer to where we want to be.

Gee golly, where would we want to be if yesterday was our Superbowl?

he's a saint fan, wich gives him a free pass to be a hypecrite,,,...he can spout out stuff before the game like :"mattyocre is gonna have a pick 6" and he can spout out that the falcons are looking at 1-2 in the face......and brag about being favorites in vegas by 4 1/2 points.....

but how dare we talk a little smack when we smack the saints in the mouth with 200 yards rushing....what a little girl

Wow, I knew the 13 year old trolls would not come back for some crow, but FDB I expected better from. Ohh well, in all honesty this game never should have made it into OT, Atlanta dominated all aspects except kick and punt coverage.

The Saints are still the luckiest professional sports team. The punt that bounced perfectly and hit our gunners foot is a perfect example.

I'm sure they will be thumping their chests for 12 months if they win the December MNF game against us. Of coarse if we sweep them, you'll only see the customary 4-5 N.O. fans around.

little guy? im 29 years old and ive seen us whip the saints plenty of times. this win really was Expected to win, i knew we were gonna beat the saints before kick off, i just stayed silent because killers stay silent and fools run their mouth.

yeah i specifically remember you calling us out, i wrote it down, so i could laugh at you when you come in here begging for mercy like you are right now

REV2, I'm with you on this. I chest thump as well, but like you I also come on here and take the good with the bad when we are down. If you can't do that then you do not deserve to chest thump. That's what separates you and I from some of the others. Right now there are several saints fans not willing to take their lumps when they were chest thumping all off season and early this season.

1). Any assult on this forum was premptively halted by the moat filled with negative bandwidth that you guys dig every week, I just DID manage to eek out a congratulatory thread before it went down.

2). I don't think you have to worry about too many new Saints posters signing up for the AFMB, no matter how well we end up doing. TATF is a pretty effective barrier between new recruits and RC ^_^

3). Overwhelmingly Saints fans picked this game to be close. It's a division game, I only saw WFL picking it to be a double-digit victory (go figure, he and his predictions :wacko: ). Throw records and stats out the window every time these two teams meet.

But you're right, if Hartley had made that kick I'd have made one civilized thread praising your team for their spirit and then I'd spend the next few days rubbing it in. I'm not sure I'd go as far as declaring the season over, though (I have limits). B)
