BMF
Drew just posted some damning words on Facebook. For those who thought he was all DAWG may want to rethink those thoughts. If you ask me it's Roll Tide!
Mr Pickle1
What did he say? And honestly, can't blame him. Richt looks like dead man walking, and has NO ONE to blame but himself. The current state of the program is a culmination, one way or the other, of his past decisions. I'm sure he didn't intend this, and I'm still thinking he has the ability to fix it, but it is definitely ALL on him.

SacFalcFan
Ray Drew has been a dawg this entire time. He is worried about cmr's job status and it's a great negative recruiting to use against uga right now. His comment was: "i really dont know what to think....im seriously starting to rethink this thing"I am not all that concerned, there is a lot more football to play. Dawgy
It's time for the AD to reach a decision- one way or the other, well before the end of season. If it is a go for CMR, it should be made VERY clear by the officials UNCONDITIONALLY. There is nothing better than winning, but if we are going to struggle, we might as well call this a re-building year, nip out the negative recruiting, and focus on a longer term plan. If we lose these critical recruits, it does not matter- CMR would be done anyway. We have been running on the Gambles and Dobbs for a while. We need the Drews and Crowells. Dawgy
Ah, the dreaded "vote of confidence"...Not a vote of confidence- a categorical, unconditional backing. Either you fire him now, or you don't. If you don't, you let people know that CMR has a contract, CTG has a contract, and they would be our coaches- no matter what the results as they try to retool the D and get the right talent in.Frankly, if you keep CMR around, but do not give him the backing, he'll lose anyway. I think this becomes a 2-3 yr commitment for GA. Either that or nothing- take your pick. If we miss out on this GA recruiting class, we'll 4 yrs behind other teams- no matter who comes in. kingjamez
Recruits only care about Richt. If Richt is here, Ray Drew is here and all these other badasses from GA will follow.
SacFalcFan
Kingjamez is dead on with his comments. If CMR is still here these recruits will follow and IMO he will be.

I understand it is out of the box, but it may be what we need to settle down the whole issue about negative recruiting.

Statick
Drew just posted some damning words on Facebook. For those who thought he was all DAWG may want to rethink those thoughts. If you ask me it's Roll Tide!I don't care anymore. No one on the UGA side, the coaches or the kids are instructing or playing with any sort of pride. As much as its been discussed there's no need for penalties, STILL not wrapping up tackles or the oline NOT knowing the snap count. Now another kid gets kicked off for a DUI. Until something changes in the coaching or the mindset of the players, we deserve whatever we get.
SacFalcFan
AJ Green or no AJ Green we can't be this bad. We have regressed the last 2 or 3 years instead of getting better... What will happen next year when Green and Durham are gone?you can dismiss his impact as much as you want lex, but you remove a player of his talent it has a big affect on the offense. if we have aj green we are 2-2, 3-1 as i said. we went through the entire offseason expecting aj green and then you find out he won't be there that is a big blow to this team. when we get aj green back you will see imo just how big he is for this team. in 2007 were were not regressing at all, 2008 it was clear why we had major issues, and in 2009 we did regress. in 2010 missing our best player is going to affect this offense and our defense as we all know is a work in progress. our wideouts have been pretty decent in green's absent, but they are not forcing opposing defenses from putting 8 men in the box. the only disappointment is that our oline with guys playing hurt just hasn't moved defenders around, but considering glenn is still not 100%, ben jones is playing hurt, trinton sturdivant is still coming back from his knee injury, and the only two healthy guys in boling and josh davis (who has been playing hurt as well) it's going to take time for them all to get back. ben would be sitting more if chris burnette had not dislocated his knee cap and we all know chris davis' hip issue may cause him to give up football (he is a DGD though for fighting through it). There is a reason why we are taking up to 7 offensive linemen in this recruiting class. You are right AJ Green and Durham are gone after this season, but we will have the entire offseason to work with the guys who will be replacing them knowing they won't be able to rely on aj green There is a different mentality and an older aaron murray will also help with that.
