We're watching Ryan become an Elite QB right before our eyes

He's not there yet- truly elite QBs make THE throw to beat Pitt, and make that pass in OT and a couple of more passes during regulation, but is he fun to watch.

Picked his spots to run- that's going to open up some things later, stood tall in the pocket, moved a little when he had to, TD pass to Roddy was a beauty, chewed out people on the sidelines, no turnovers- a really impressive all round game.

Ryan has 5 TDs and 1 INT, a QB rating of about 95 [puts him top ten] and a 2-1 record so far.

This is going to be a fun year.

He may not be there, yet, but his GPS is locked-in and he is on his way.

He's on his way no question about it. The best part of it all is that last season he looked like he was getting happy feet. This season, the ice man doesn't flinch.

He was absolutely LOCKED IN today. He had an unreal day, especially considering how well we ran the ball.

OP don't let our negative fans bring you down. You are right. Matt Ryan is looking amazing so far and is well in his way to elite. He has such great leadership and we saw it today. I am confident that as long as we have Matt we are going to be in every game.

He had a great game and threw pretty passes the whole game. He threw bullets when it called for it and a very nice deep ball that was a bit over thrown for HD. He's our leader and I'm thrilled with his play this year ( yes even the Steeler game! You've seen what they have done to other teams now.) receivers were dropping some catchable balls early which was upsetting me, but we sucked it up and moved on.

easily the best qb we've EVER had. If any1 can say vick is better they're out there minds. Better arm yes, but as far as leading his team, us REAL falcon fans know.

I was impressed that he did what he did today with no Michael Jenkins and very little help from Harry Douglas. Once Jenkins comes back and Matt can re-establish a rhythm with HD... watch out, world.
