yesmann
I'm a Falcons fan, but I'm also still a fan of Vick, and his redemption story is by far the best story in the NFL this year. You can be a fan of teams and individual players, I think, and it doesn't make you less of a fan imho to be a fan of a player of a rival team. I know many here are too worried about their message board rep to admit it, but I bet MANY Falcon fans that wew once Vick fans are rooting for Vick and are more excited about what he's doing in Philly than you are excited about the Falcs this year. Anyone else brave enough to admit it?
vabchbirdlover
Just going out on a limb here, but if you are more exicited about the Eagles than the Falcons, then I don't think that qualifies you as a Falcons fan.
DemDirtyBirds4
I have no problem in saying that it is fun to see Vick back doing his thing but that being more exciting then the Falcons? GTFO. In no way am I more excited about what Vick is doing over the Falcons. Its fine if you like watching Vick but how can you call yourself a Falcon fan and be more excited to see a former player then the Falcons taking on their biggest rival. I am amped for this weeks match up between the Falcons and Saints and no matter what Vick does that wont change.

Falconsfan567
I brave enough to admit that you're crazy if you think the Eagles are better than the Falcons this year! I mean that great Eagles defense finding a way to give up 27 points to Green Bay in week 1 and 32 to Detroit in week 2, Sorry dude! Football is a team game. We saw how far that 1 man show got us. Remind me how many Super Bowls we won with Vick? How many times did we even play in the SB with Vick?
markdzul
Not really. He does not play for the Falcons anymore... hence i do not really care.... Until we play them however.. then wondering how we will game plan to stop him... I enjoyed watching Vick play while he was with the Falcons. Of course he is no longer a Falcon so not really a factor. Glad he is hopefully no longer caught up in his past ways and is a good citizen. but can't say i really pull for him... At all..
yesmann
Bottom line is that it is WAY more fun to watch Eagles games than and team in the NFL, from a pure FOOTBALL fan perspective. It's more exciting, you cannot deny that.

It's more exciting, you cannot deny that.Don't have to deny it, you're just wrong- I'm a falcons fan, nothing more exciting than Ryan leading the O down the field, or DeCoud laying the wood, Biermann with a sack, Turner breaking off one of his patented 70 yard runs.No other team comes close- how you can claim to be a falcons fan and not understand that is beyond me.You must be a Vick fan, don't have a problem with that, but if you think any other team is more exciting to watch you're not a falcon fan. FalconinPA
Phuck the Eagles!!!!! Can't stand them. Now, I do like individual players on other teams, but The Falcons are the only team that I will ever cheer for. But I will admit that I would like to see Vick redeem himself and do good. I have the sunday Ticket to see the Falcons, but being in Pa the Eagles are always on TV. Vick is the hot story everywhere but especially here. I still like to watch him because is is still fun too watch. But never, never, will I cheer for the Eagles.
delaigle
I had no plans to watch any of the Eagles other games this year, VICK being QB has not changed that at all.I will watch the Eagle -Falcons game and I will pull for the Falcons to win. JPW
I cheer for two teams Bears/Falcons. If they play each other i don't care who wins. **** my top five favorite players aren't Falcons. It doesn't make me any less a fan then some of the yahoo's that post here. With all that said if Vick is your fav player cheer for him. TeamPlayer1
I would just like to ask you one question: If you are an Eagles fan, why are you posting on a Falcons message board? The past is history and that's a good place for it! Move on.
phattywankenobi
You came out of the closet and don't even realize it. How can anyone miss the concept of what it means to be a fan of a team? I wish Vick good luck but seriously if you would rather watch the Eagles than the Falcons then you clearly don't understand what it means to be a fan. Just an honest question. Why do you consider yourself to be a Falcon fan if clearly the reason you liked the Falcons was because of a player that is no longer here?Try this litmus test. Are you more excited about the Falcons playing the former Superbowl teams and oldest rival or whoever the Philadelphia Vicks are playing this weekend? Abe
I would rather watch the Falcons even if we were playing a game and losing by 41 than flip over to see Vick play. I am a Vick fan but he in no way shape or form could come close to getting near the passion I have for our team. I would however choose to watch Vick during our commercial breaks!
