Flyin' In DC
Dont know if anyone thinks this is pertinent(important for Saints fans) Randall Gay will not be playing on Sunday(concussion)CB Randall Gay didn't pass the concussion exam, so he won't be able to play Sunday against the Falcons. He didn't practice Thursday. Saints RapidReports

madman88
Does he start?he's there nickel guy, so that means they prolly are going to start there rookie at nickel, robinson kid from FSU
phattywankenobi
Apparently gay Thursdays are back. As for Randall, since he is the nickel I don't know how much that will affect their pass coverage.
madman88
Robinson was inactive last week, don't think they're high on him. They may have to kick Malcom down into that role and put someone else in the FS spot.he was inactive cause they didnt need him, they got three corner who could start, no reason to activate him... but trust he will be playing this week, which is good for us anyway
st. diehard
Robinson was inactive last week, don't think they're high on him. I can't defend not activating your 1st rounder. Payton did say it was just a numbers thing. They activated a better special-teams player last week.I'd expect him to be active this week. I think he's in the mix as a dime back. Still, it'll likely be Young or Torrance as the nickel. They seem to be taking it slow with all the rooks. Very few snaps for the class so far. Flyin' In DC
I think that they might have issues with their back 7 this week(fingers crossed). Payton is a whole lot more sneaky with injury reports than most coaches
falken
RG doesn't start but he's a big part of what they do on defense. He can play both CB and S which makes him versatile in any system. He was signed as a undrafted FA by the Patriots in 2004 where he earned a roster spot. He was even thrown into the starting lineup after Ty Law was injured his rookie season. He's had some injury issues over his career but has been solid for the Saints since '08.

st. diehard
Awww, the little Aints fan didnt think my joke was funny and gave me a negative. If you're referring to me then that's inaccurate. I had to go back to see what you posted. I've seen that play on his name so many times I didn't even remember your post.
