Apparently it's official, Jerious out for the year with torn ACL

Watch, he is going to get picked up by another club next year and light it up, and not get injured.

That would be just out luck.

If he does good for him, it's just not going to work out here in Atlanta. I don't know if it's playing half the games on the Dome turf that's the problem but it could be. Some guys just don't have the legs for the newer turf.

Light it up where? It's not like he lit it up here b/c he stayed injured. Like I said, it's too bad we won't get to see just how good he could have been. I'm sure somebody will pick him up next year, just depend on what we do. I just don't want to keep tying up a roster spot with him, then he get's hurt, and then we lose a player with good potential to another team and that player be the one who hurts us down the road. I don't think it will be Norwood, not at this point.

Crazy Legs I will miss you. Even though your full potential was never realized you will stay in my memories as one of our most exciting players. I will always remember that play at Washington when you broke off like a 60 yard run and turned the whole defense around.

Good luck and I hope you have a speedy recovery.

So NOT surprised at this news.

I hate to ponder this, but Jerious' career is probably over, as a Falcon anyway. I can't see him getting a new contract from us.

If he does come back and play, he'll probably only see the field as a specialist of some sort.

Actually, I think this is where he's getting banged up the most b/c he always run straight into the pile instead of bouncing it out. I don't like him as a kick-off or punt returner, I think he would have been better used as a WR or on screen plays only b/c he's too fragile to run up the middle of a defense.

Anywhere that is not here. I am just speculating, and seeing as this franchise has bad luck, it would not suprise me.
