How you beat the saints EXPOSED

9ers pretty much showed the saints weaknesses last night. Yeah they lost but God they gave them the freaking game lol. I've said it for 2 years now and the 9ers showed it. You stop the run and you press brees up the middle and he becomes an average qb.

Frank Gore is a beast but I think our O-line for running is better and we should mix up the runs with turner and snelling.

If our d will continue to play like they have the last 2 weeks and the DC goes after brees UP THE MIDDLE we can and will win on Sunday. Pressing him from the outside is what he loves because he can step up and make the play 80% of the time.

I hope we pres brees all f***ng day long.

Lets hope Saints don't think like this and watch 2 tapes one bad one good and judge the Falcons by that..

Luckily Sean Payton knew 49ers would give them all they could possibly give and that seemed to be their Post-season Playbook they threw at the Saints and Saints kept it basic and mostly conventional and still pulled out a win..

Singletary knew not only if they had beaten the saints his team would have gotten out of that slump feeling they had after getting their butts handed to them by Seattle but he would have also gotten ahold of the locker room and they would have started believing in themselves again, don't discredit 49ers one bit, they played their BEST! game and gave the world champions everything they could possible give and it wasn't enough, i actually hope they go on a winning streak after and prove to all the display they showed to the Wold champs on MNF is their championship run chance..

The Niners could've used your insight on how to beat us last night. Oh wait, maybe they needed some better advice now that I think about itcool.gif

Why knock what I said. You dont see that pressing Brees up the middle makes him very average?

9ers beat themselves

JerryDwane, did you not see that every Blitz package except for 2 Bree's made 9er's pay for?

did you watch the game or do did you watch 49e'rs highlights?

If that same Pressure was brought to your QB, compared to Brees how do you think he'll end up on average..

Actually Tom Brady, Brees, Eli, and Brett were all Pressured this past weekend/week and of them all Brees performed the best and out of them all Brees team iis the only one won.

LOL. The 9ers have shown the formula to everyone! Amen!

#1: Turn the ball over 4 times.

#2: Play at home in windy conditions.

#3: Have a huge home crowd on Mondy Night and retire Jerry Rice at half.

#4: Play your best game of the season.

#5: Have Patrick Willis on your team.

Still lose!

You guys are awesome... I come here to read threads when I need a good laugh.

I'll be back to collect your tears on Sunday night.

You forgot -- refs putting 2 seconds back on the clock, so the Saints could kick the field goal!

Watched the entire game my friend. You guys where beat to **** and back by the 9ers. They just dont know how to hold on to the ball. Your team is not as great as you think and will soon see that. I will give credit where credit is do. You guys are SB champs from last year. Dont expect the same this year. It isn't happening.

and yes when they got pressure up the middle brees's balls were all over the place missing receivers, throwing high, tipped balls, etc etc. Your O-line is very weak this year. 9ers where only rushing 4 and sometimes 3 and still got pressure... I hope we put BREES on his arse 10 times Sunday...

Spoken like a very scared person.

I don't argue with Saints fans on their high horse. One of your legs just got cut off and we will cut off another Sunday... A horse on 3 legs doesn't run as fast as it use too.. Take care.

Watch the ESPN broadcast. Brees is standing next to the ref with :03 seconds left when he stick his hands in the "T" for timeout at the ref and say "timeout". Ref blew whistle with 2 seconds left.

ESPN's on-TV clock (not the official game clock) didn't stop when the ref blew the whistle. It was an ESPN production error, not officiating conspiracy.

You guys are just sad.

Why would i be scared? LMAO! Why would you be scared? we are fans we aren't on the field.. Im more confident about my favorite team going into this game than i was the 49'ers game babee!

Im not going to sit here and argue with an irrational none logical thinking Falcon fan because you want hostility in the comfort of your fan-board for backing you up, i'll let you show your ignorance and lack of knowledge and set yourself up for a head in sand moment..

I don't see what leg you see cut off but i will say again.. I hope your team is thinking exactly like their fans..

The poster above is correct. The timeout was called it was just the tv clock messed up. Refs did not do anything to help the saints lol. The 9ers on the other hand did everything possible to loose the game.

It's "lose".... I know you know how to spell it. ;-)

And they didn't do everyhting possible to lose it... on the contrary... they killed themselves trying to find a way to win... Including a great run game... money catches by Davis... a great 2 minute drive to tie the game... etc.

The Saints just did what they always do... show resolve... create turnovers... find a way to win.

No offense man. I'm just really pisssseeddd at the the moment because I hate your team as much as you hate ours and San Fran could have put yall down last night easily. They beat you in every way accept the score board. Your team got a win and thats all great for you. 9ers had your number but couldnt do anything but give the ball back in critical moments. 3 turnovers inside the 30, a muffed punt and that stupid safety.

Yall won, I get it. Your team however looks very average right now.

PS This is a falcon forum. I didn't ask for a saints fan opinion.

Saints did enough to win the game, why can't you just say that? lol it's not hard..

yes 49'ers screwed themselves but in Football thats the other part of the game, "TO CAPITALIZE ON OTHER TEAM SCREW UPS! if you can't then you don't deserve to win it anyway.

They put the pressure on, they got the turn-over's which before Gregg williams was nearly impossible for us to recover turnovers, and we were ball hawks, our Offense played their worse game and it still was better than most in the league this past week.. lets move on.

Im done lol.. it's just going in circles...

Good luck man with your team, i hope ya'll come out healthy and so does mine and your people have fun watching..

Sorry as I cant say that the saints did enough to win the game. Your team did nothing to get 2 points at the start of the game. Your team did nothing to cause the muffed punt. Again you won on the board but you did not beat them on the field.

Yes, the Saints are the world champs. Yes, they have one of the best QB's, and one of, if not the best game-planning coach in the NFL. BUT... they looked very beatable in San Francisco. They also looked very beatable against Minnesota.

The Falcons struggled against the league's most stifling defense up in Pittsburgh. It was comforting to see the Steelers hold the most dynamic RB in the league to 30 something yards last Sunday. Turner faired better than he did. After the Steelers game I was really quite worried about week 3. But I think it's safe to say the Falcons have started to find their offensive rhythm. It's not all the way there yet, but it's starting to happen. I'm not worried about week 3 anymore, let's just put it that way.

As a fan, the Saints have never stricken me with fear. They will always be the 'Aints to me. Long, hardcore rivalry between our teams. Makes for some good football. And this week, the Falcons will be more than the 'Aints can handle.

Falcons 27 - Saints 17
