ryanw
Someone should point out to the Falcons marketing folks that the flags they give out at the home games should be black or red. "Waving the white flag..." is not the message you should be sending to the other team. Tons of teams in football and baseball seem to do it with white flags specifically. How has no one caught this and corrected it? + red flags would work just as well, if not better.
The Falcon Jedi
Good point, because most visiting teams wear their white colors.

Shiney_McShine
The white flags are easier to see. The red ones were impossible to see.....Especially on TV.
Falcon Freddie
The white flags are easier to see. The red ones were impossible to see.....Especially on TV.That's the reason for the white. Heck, why do you think those "Terrible Towels" the Steeler fans wave are yellow with black letters, not black with yellow letters?
NewFalcon
I'm voting for NO FLAGS in the Dome.I sit in the second row (STH), and the woman in front of me kept standing up and waving the flag high in the air throughout the entire game. It didn't interfere with my view but she was consistently blocking the view of many of the people behind us--in spite of being asked several time (politely) to stop doing so. Stupid cow looked back at the people behind us and said "If they didn't want us to wave them, they wouldn't have given them to us." Unfortunately, she was right.Thought for a moment that one of the guys behind me was going to push her over the rail and onto the field. I've been asked to sit down a few times just cheering when there is a good play or the biggest one was when I was standing up cheering when they come out of the tunnel. Rev_Hal
The wite flags stood out 1000% better than the red flags. I even traded my red flag for a white one when I saw home much better and more effective they were.
dmite
I waved it for the introductions and stuff, but promptly put it away once the game was on. Towels would be much better to give out.

You are right- the seats are already red in the dome so the white flags stand out better than red flags. I dont know how black flags would look tho. KANE337
The Steelers have claims on the towel. The Bucs have claims on the flags. The Falcons should give out Pom-Poms.
