Flags at home games

Someone should point out to the Falcons marketing folks that the flags they give out at the home games should be black or red.

"Waving the white flag..." is not the message you should be sending to the other team. Tons of teams in football and baseball seem to do it with white flags specifically. How has no one caught this and corrected it? + red flags would work just as well, if not better.

I'm voting for NO FLAGS in the Dome.

I sit in the second row (STH), and the woman in front of me kept standing up and waving the flag high in the air throughout the entire game. It didn't interfere with my view but she was consistently blocking the view of many of the people behind us--in spite of being asked several time (politely) to stop doing so.

Stupid cow looked back at the people behind us and said "If they didn't want us to wave them, they wouldn't have given them to us." Unfortunately, she was right.

Thought for a moment that one of the guys behind me was going to push her over the rail and onto the field.

As difficult as it is to get people in the stands involved in anything other than booing and the wave I wish more people would stand up and wave the flag. I've been asked to sit down a few times just cheering when there is a good play or the biggest one was when I was standing up cheering when they come out of the tunnel.
