Tax-Falcon
I feel it. Struggling versus the Vikings and the 49ers? The Falcons should take this team.
blizzard_falcon
I feel it. Struggling versus the Vikings and the 49ers? The Falcons should take this team.I completely agree. The 49ers had that game in the bag tonight, but all those turnovers were just too much to overcome, despite the last-minute heroics.I think that if we give the Saints a healthy dose of Turner and Snelling -- and avoid turning the ball over -- we have a very good chance to go into New Orleans and come away with the win. Who Dat 4 Life!
I feel it. Struggling versus the Vikings and the 49ers? The Falcons should take this team.Yeah ok, you look like a Super Bowl team against the Steelers.
vel
Haha its funny how a Saints fan immediately comes to a Falcons board after they won...But yea to only lose by 3 points after 4 TOs is not bad. They fought hard which is all I wanted from the 9ers. Now the Saints have shown how to beat them and will be tired with a short week. Time to job on em! DD: Objective Elite
Yeah ok, you look like a Super Bowl team against the Steelers.i can see your well thought out logic, indeed playing at San Fransisco is much more difficult than playing at Pittsburgh. Your lucky as **** team can't keep it up forever, their luck in uncanny.
falconsd56
If we dont cough up the ball we cruise. They cant stop the run.Peterson gashed them until they stopped running,Gore Gashed themThey got very little pressure on Smith, and the niners were playing with a make shift line and Smith still had all day to throw even when they blitzed. We hold on to the ball and they wont touch us. achilles return
Yeah ok, you look like a Super Bowl team against the Steelers. The Steelers certainly look better than the Vikings and 49ers. I'm not sure what your point is.
sticktracy
Yeah ok, you look like a Super Bowl team against the Steelers. My thoughts exactly, we got beat by a 3rd string QB and beat another 3rd string QB with a weak defense@home. Yeah sure were going to beat the saints IN THE SUPER DOME. Nobody even takes the 49ers seriously. They arent that good.
didz
Falcons have put a big circle around this game for a long time now. Falcons will look to dominate the Saints. I think as a team, we have it figured out now. We have the tough defense and an offense that will make you scared. The offense we saw against the Cards, is exactly how it should be ran. Deep passes, runs up the middle and taking chances. I am going to enjoy this Sunday real nice.

Yeah sure were going to beat the saints IN THE SUPER DOME. Nobody even takes the 49ers seriously. They arent that good. The Titans and CJ2k Got held to 34 yards on 16 attempts and Dennis Dixon left in the 2 quarter, So really the Titans got beat by a 4th String QB. The Steelers are for real this year, they're going to be scary with Ben back

falconsd56
I don't know you lost to the steelers, we beat the 49ers? The thread is about how the Falcons can take the saints.simple.. running the ball down your ******* throats and not turning the ball over. Not only can we run the ball we can actually pass it too. If you cover Gonzo and White like you covered Davis and the niners less then stellar wrs 417 yards will seem like a good day compared to what we will do. Atlanta's biggest test will be to get a pass rush on Brees and over come the Saints unbelievable luck.
Photofalcon
Lookin like no Reggie Bush either. SF did with Gore what we did Sunday with Snelling and Turner while he was in. I'll take Ryan, Turner, Gonzales, and White over Smith, Gore, Davis, and Crabtree all day. Falcons win Sunday, Believe Dat!

blizzard_falcon
Pat Y just added his two cents over on ESPN.com:"The Saints better hope they get a good tail wind on their flight home. They now face a short week. They also might be about to face the most difficult opponent they’ve seen. That’s Atlanta in the Superdome on Sunday. The Falcons are coming off an impressive victory against Arizona, they’ve got an extra day of rest and they played the Saints tough twice last season."Here's hoping we get Jenkins back for the game, too, and give Matty Ice yet another weapon to work with. Durrty
I don't know you lost to the steelers, we beat the 49ers? The thread is about how the Falcons can take the saints.Man, quit twisting the man's thread up. YOU and ALL THE REST OF YOUR AINT BUDDIES know your team isn't performing like they did last year. Brees wasn't airing it out all night, just dumping it off to the RBs. If the Niners didn't turnover the ball like they did and kept giving your offense opportunities to score, they would've won. That's how you all got to the Superbowl...by other teams' miscues. You're going to face a well-coached, well-disciplined, champ hungry team on both sides of the ball this Sunday. You have a short week. You may have lost your star RB. We're coming for your throats. Bank on it.
Who Dat 4 Life!
MAN REALLY!? OMGOSHZ!1!1!!The same 49ers team that got their doors blown off by SEATTLE...Man, what a quality win you got there off pure luck on about 3 or 4 different plays that just somehow lucked up for the Saints. At least the refs called the game properly.A win is a win. No one will care at the end of the season. Good teams find a way to win the game.

blizzard_falcon
Look, I think the Saints are extremely beatable right now, but you can't take fore granted this game is on the road in one of the craziest places to play in the NFL. I'm feeling great about our teams chances, but lets win the game before we start proclaiming stuff like this.I wanna see us smack them in the mouth and watch them bleed, lets hope Sunday that happens, but be realistic here. The Saints still have an insane offense, and the 9ers D really showed up this week.+1 for that avatar!

IDK if we have a Patrick Willis, but at the other positions I think we are equal or better. If we get penetration like that up the middle on D, our offense won't give away the game like SF did.
