(Captain Falcon)
Norwood is likely done for the year and maybe his career as a Falcon as well. Last year of his contract so where do we go from here.

FalconinPA
Smith, Antone 35 RB 5-9 190 25 1 Florida State+1 I think Smith is the speed back that we need. At least give him a try and see what he has
Zodiac
I Think we should try and draft Lamicheal James if he comes out this year(he's a redshirt Sophmore this yr.) He reminds me a lot of Dexter McCluster, Jahvid Best, and Barry Sanders. Has big play written all over him
Sidious
Make Snelling the main back since he doesn't shy away from contact & let Turner be the change of pace back. He's been running out of bounds a lot recently & tiptoeing in the backfield. (That is if Turner's groin injury isn't serious) Edited September 21, 2010 by Sidious

blackredfellow
I know i've already posted it a bunch in other threads, but I think this man is the answer (and not JUST because i'm a WVU fan). He and Turner would make defense's heads spin.

The Falcon Jedi
Norwood is finished. A RB with a chronic hip problem + a torn ACL = Death Sentence in the NFL.Time to free up his roster spot with someone that can contribute. He will be released by the end of the week. I'm glad you're here with insider information about what the Falcons organization plans to do.I doubt we straight up release him. We'll attempt to trade him for something before we just release him, and I'd imagine we hang on to him, anyway. We can just put him on IR if he's that injured, right? What kind of value do you think you can get for a RB with a chronic hip flexor problem, and now with a knee injury that required him to be carted off the field.Yea let's keep him on the roster the rest of the season, and take up that roster spot while he wont be on the field the rest of the season. That makes sense.
Mid-Nite-Toker
Are we jumping the gun too soon? I read Coach Smith was waiting till Wed to speak on Norwood's injury.
The Falcon Jedi
Are we jumping the gun too soon? The Falcon Jedi
I'm not suggesting the news will be great, but I have not read anything official yet.He already has a chronic bad hip condition. If his knee is shredded.... Not really much there left to be a RB in the NFL.
