sticktracy
I want to see what dis team can do against real teams. Not teams playing their 3rd string Qb's like da Steelers because if Roethlisber played that game we wouldve gotten blown out and eeerbotie knows it. sticktracy
saints coming off a short week and a westcoast short week at that falcons win.Hopefully so, ,lets not jump the gun to soon on that. People keep failing to realize as much as we hate them. They are still superbowl champs. "To be the man , ya gotta beat the man" WOO! 5 to the squad
i've got this feeling falcons are gonna come out harder against the saints than they did against the cards.

Finally
-1 for being a broken record. Seriously. By now you should be tired of typing the same comments over and over. Or are you just copying and pasting? We get it. We haven't faced a high caliber qb yet. Every game, every week is a test though.
MattyIceIsSoNice
I want to see what this team can do against real teams. Not teams playing their 3rd string Qb's like the Steelers because if Roethlisber played that game we wouldve gotten blown out and everybody knows it. To my recollection, Cardinals reciever Larry Fitzgerald their main offensive weapon played with MCL sprain and wasnt healthy for the Cardinals yesterday and this year, they started a 3rd string QB and they have an awful defense this season. We were at home of course we would blow a team out like that. Thats why im not overexcited about this win one bit, happy yes...excited NO. This week will tell what kind of team this really is. Because we'll be going up against REAL COMPETITION. Then we can get excited if we win. By the way Derek Anderson threw 12 passes off the mark to Fitzgerald proving exactly why he is nothing more than a 3rd string QB.To my recollection, that same 3rd string qb beat the Titans AT the Titans yesterday... hummmm

delaigle
To my recollection, that same 3rd string qb beat the Titans AT the Titans yesterday... hummmmReally Dixon 4 for 6 replaced by Batch 5 for
MattyIceIsSoNice
Vince young got benched that game.Who cares? The point is, the Steelers are a good team without Ben. We played them close at home. You don't know what wouldve happened if Ben had of played.
crankdatfalcon
Really Dixon 4 for 6 replaced by Batch 5 for 11if dixon had played the whole game, his numbers would have been better..

The Saints will be the ebst offense we face all year and will be a real test for our defense, but don't discount what the defense has done the first two weeks. delaigle
The OP said the cards played a 3rd string QB and no FitzWell Atlanta matched it up by playing a 3rd string RB, a 3rd string WR, and a 2nd string Safety
AtlFan1971
I am going to counter your comment about dis week is da real test - if you meant for the Saints you are right! Brett Favre for the past few seasons has had lowsy performances opening day and couple that with the game was played in New Orleans. The 49ers got manhandled by the Seahawks opening day so the Aints might actually be able to beat them tonight too - however, you can bet I will be watching and rooting for the 49ers.Anyway your comment is correct, Dis week is da real test for the Aints - I just wished they were playing at the GA Dome, then it would be even a bigger test! Go Falcons and go 49ers This Week Only!!! Edited September 20, 2010 by AtlFan1971
delaigle
if dixon had played the whole game, his numbers would have been better..Probably, I honestly do not know why he was replaced, did he get injured or what?

AtlFan1971
Probably, I honestly do not know why he was replaced, did he get injured or what?Dixon got hurt, they just re-signed Leftwich who they had previously released

Photofalcon
Saints barely beat what appears to be a terrible Vikings team. They haven't proven squat either. It's a whole new season, and looks like a lot of the paper champions are not living up to expectations (Vikes, Cowgirls, maybe the Aints?).
