Were you at the game?

If anyone was at the game, I'm just wondering what their opinion of Turner's health is.

I know we had a substantial lead so his return wasnt necessary... but what did he look like on the sidelines in the 2nd half? Any cast? Boot?

I'm really worried, an injury to Turner could mean we are one RB deep. While Snelling performed great... it'ed be nice to have the 1/2 punch.

He should be fine. I was at the game and purposely looked for Turner at beginning of second half. Saw him running on sideline testing it out and I believe the coaches when they say he could have come back in if necessary. At that point Snelling was in a groove so was the right decision.

This is from DLed's blog my brother. It sounds pretty good:

Falcon running back Michael Turner suffered a groin injury in the 41-7 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

He finished with 75 yards on nine carries. He was cleared to return to the game, but the Falcons elected to let him rest.

“I don’t think it was significant,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said of Turner’s injury. “He was talking about going back in to the ball game. He was cleared to go back in. I don’t think it’s going to be anything significant. But I have yet to talk to the trainers. I have not had my post-game meeting with the trainers.”

Coach Smith said turner was fine and will start next week. I noticed that Turner was laughing and joking and walking fine when leaving the field at the end.

I also met Tom Pedula, the USA Today sportswriter covering the game on the MARTA after the game, and he confirmed that he'd heard it was a minor groin issue and Turner wI'll be fine. He was also very impressed with our young team.
