ChessPlayer1
I went to the game today and i was wondering for those of you that wacthed from home how did Dunta play?I saw him get a few good tackles and he tipped a huge third down pass. I believe he is a good number1 corner at this point. We will see next week.
The Falcon Jedi
He did pretty good. Esp. That hit he laid on that WR screen late in the game.
Ake Man
He did pretty good. Esp. That hit he laid on that WR screen late in the game.He had a couple great hits and he's just gonna get better once he learns his role in the defense. A great pickup. Him with Owens on the other side is very encouraging.
Peyton
He played great today. Everybody in the secondary played great today. Moore had a couple of unsure moments in his first start, but the Cardinals WRs dropped the ball. The entire defense played great today, with the exception of one pathetically bad play. falconidae
The secondary may become one the the strengths of the team, think back a couple of years and that starts to be amazing. DeCoud and Moore could be an incredible pair of young safeties.
Faithful Falcon
I think that Dunta did great. Next week won't be a man coverage scheme. You have to stay in a zone to beat the Saints.

ChessPlayer1
Dunta seems to be a physical corner. If grimes were more physical he would be a better corner imo.
BlacksburgHokie
I thought he had a very good game, especially in the second half. He made several great plays in coverage, and showed that he wasn't afraid to be physical at the point of attack. As far as Grimes vs. Owens, to be a successful team in the NFL these days you really do need 3 starting-caliber corners. It doesn't matter which 2 are out there on the first play, all 3 will see extended action in each game...
FalconMama
They've played well BUT I will wait to see how they do when they play a formidable passing attack next week. This is the week where Dunta earns his money.

UnderDawgsUnite
Most of Fitz' catches came when Grimes was on him.hahaha you do realize that's a false statement, right?? AZ threw to Fitz with Grimes on him a few times. And Grimes had a big break-up against Fitz. hahaha most catches came on Robinson's side.... pr0d1gy
The only real mistake made by our secondary was the horrible angle DeCoud took on the TD run they had on us. If you re-watch it you will see he should have had a pretty easy tackle but he run too sharp of an angle and Hightower got behind him. He was perfectly on track to make the tackle without much gain for Hightower, but Lofton got jacked up badly and pushed so far back that he got unexpectedly in DeCoud's way and he missed the tackle. It was a weird play. I blame Grimes a lot more for not running the whole time.
Osiruz
I thought he (dunta) did decent, he got beat a couple of times but got lucky cause they were both drops. Our best corner was grimes all day, but i think moore playing next to him had alot to do with it. They both locked down their side of the field. 84White32Quizz
Dunta played great today and so did Grimes, actually the whole secondary played great. For most of the 1st qt Fitz kept running out to be covered by Dunta and Dunta just took care of business on him. And as most know I am a big fan of starting Owens, but I never said Grimes was bad at covering so when Fitz gets tired of Dunta shutting him down what did he do? he ran to Grimes side and Grimes said thank you come again.I mean we should wait until next week to see exactly how good the secondary is but when one of the best WR's in the league goes for 7 catches and 83 yards you would usually say man our best CB had a very good day against Fitz but when your number 1 and number 2 both hold him to such an average day, man thats encouraging. And I guess I can say that OWens should stay in the nickel becasue the man hits he covers well we have the potentail of Owens taking away the number 3 WR Dunta taking away his side of the field which leaves you with Grimes and while I still dont believe he has elite coverage he does have above average coverage and thats when his athletic ability comes into play. You cant throw at Dunta or Owens and now you want to throw at a guy that will jumo thru the roof if you throw the football there? No.Sunday against the aints will be a hhuge day I might not make it to Sunday. The hate in my heart for the aints is boiling over right now I just cant wait.
