E. T.
He needs alot more playing time. Norwoods days are numbered, and looks like turner might be on the IR...I see a change of the guard coming!
since68andcounting
You never know. Jamal Anderson was a 7th rounder who got better every year until the point where we were begging for him to start over Craig Heyward. When he finally did, you know what happened. I still think Turner has a couple good years in the tank though.Speaking of which, this 4th quarter today reminded me of SO many games in '98 when we had a team beat down, and just handed off repeatedly to Jamal to run the clock and let him deliver the heavy punishment. dmite
Seriously?? I Missed The Game... =/No, he could have come back but we were up and Snelling was doing good so there was no need. He'll be ready to go next week I'm sure.Norwood might be out a lot longer though, he got carted off. ukfalc
Smelling and Ovie should be more involved every week. We don't need to run Turner 25 times per game when we have other viable options.

Supes™
Whats the need for that? Turner is fine.Exactly. The Burner had 75 yards on 9 carries. He might have had a 200 yard game if not for his groin, but he's gonna be fine and I hope Norwood will be too. If they can just stay healthy, we have a great, GREAT backfield! lystrodom
Turner was even cleared to come back into the game, according to the post-game interview with Mike Smith. They just didn't put him in because we were beating the **** out of Arizona.

People jump to conclusions and make statements without any info whatsoever. Nowhere did anyone even hint that Turner was hurt that bad and it was already stated that he could've come back and played, but there was no need to. We were ahead big and Snelling was doing fine, so let Turner rest and heal for next week at the Saints.
Threepac Daddy
turner could have come back and played, he had his gear on in the 2cd half, but why play with when up 34-7 in the 3rd quarter? brokewood maybe done for the season, donest surprise me and expect a new rb this week
