Hardyfalcon
I didn't see him come back into the game late. I hope it isn't serious.
xFalconLord
I noticed this as well. I wonder what happened to him.

BenB321
Our secondary is pretty deep now with Grimes, Williams and Franks so even if Owens was hurt we would be OK. Compare that to the McKay era where we had Rossem playing CB for us. Thanks for nothing McKay!

Tylah
We are deep but somehow I feel that C.Owens is the starter and he has good instinct.I agree with this. He is good in coverage and great in run support. we need him out there as the starter with grimes in the nickel
BenB321
We are deep but somehow I feel that C.Owens is the starter and he has good instinct.I don't know if Owens has better coverage instincts than Grimes but he is more physical both against the run and pass. Grimes is a pure coverage CB. Franks is very physical as well. Our new FA CB Dunta looked very impressive today so that was good to see. Our secondary is light years ahead of what it used to be. Hashbrown3
We need our best in order to be ready for Brees who I am growing really tired of ... I want to see someone knock the ever lovin' $hit out of him.
schwarzenegger321
I agree that our secondary is coming together, but our pass rush today helped them look good too. I think it all has to come together, and it looks like it is starting to. Pressure on the QB forces errors that combine with a secondary in good position and results in INT's or passes defended. Brees needs to have a game like he use to have when he was with the chargers. You know, on his back 4 or 5 times a game and no time to get the ball out. I want to see someone knock the ever lovin' $hit out of him.I'm with you. We need someone to knock his head off. Last year I tried to get up a Falcon MB bounty to the Falcon player that knocks him out but we had a few pansies that started crying about bounties. They need to go back to needlepoint and watching soap operas.

DiZzY_DeCuir33
agreed, good to finally have some depth at that positionI agree, nice pick by Owens. The pass rush definitely helped on that one. Dunta played very well and showed that physical nature he brings at the CB position. Big props to Willy Mo, and D. Franks on their first career picks. BenB321
McKay also gave us Snelling.....I think he helped us win today by just a little bit.He also brought in Grimey.Yeah, two backups. I think he was responsible for drafting our backup LDE with a top ten number one draft pick. Don't make me go into McKay's incompetence. Even Gazoo characterized McKay as a "failed GM". Obviously Arthur Blank agreed with that sentiment because he fired McKay from the GM position and McKay at this point has no power over player or personel decisions with the Atlanta Falcons. I could go in to the fact that our win/loss record got worse every year he was GM or the fact that we were one of the worst teams in the league McKay's last year and the laughingstock of the NFL or the fact that he was responsible for hiring Petrino and Mora two coaches that will never get the opportunity to be a head coach in the NFL again but I will defer to your expert opinion that McKay was a good GM for the Falcons. Enjoy your delusion.
