Southsacfalcon
Don't worry about Matty, they said all the same things about him that they're now saying about Matt, until he got hot in the playoffs and won the whole thing, remember in 07 Eli had a league high 20 picksgoing into the playoff! Let's see how Matt bounces back before we kill him
AF89
They still say that stuff about Eli. Granted his defense and a timley helmet catch had ALOT to do with his ring, Eli gets way more grief that he deserves and alot of that has to do with who his brother is. Dharma Initiative
Eli is still a fool that was carried by his defense. An Asante Samuel dropped interception won that Super Bowl

Abe
How many teams could have went to the Steelers house on opening Sunday and won? Not many... I feel good about our team and this week we should prove that we are no fluke.
Ray Lewis
DONT SAY THAT!!! i hate eli manning... Well, Asante Samuel didnt get them to the Super Bowl. And you cant say that Eli did nothing to win the Superbowl. But, Im not an Eli fan either, but, the subject does have some merit. Matt has yet to receive to much criticism, however, with the big spotlight he put on himself in 2008, you have to expect that everyperson with a blackberry, droid or internet will be watching his every move. I dont really care what they say about him. Even if Ryan struggles, we have to remember that he was part of an effort that regained alot of hope and faith in the Falcons after the 2007 season. Of course, I still think he will be great.
millenium falcon
we played step for step with PIT in their house on opening day for 4 quarters. it was a great game until grimes let mendenhall take it to the house in sudden death. I feel good about our team and this week we should prove that we are no fluke.See this is where I think many of our fans make too many excuses. Nothing against you, but it is always how many teams can go into Heinz field on opening day against Pittsburgh and win. The answer is alot of them that are confident and want to be a contenders. To me beating the lowly struggling Cardinals doesn't prove that we are no fluke. Beating the Saints the following week will prove more. I am a glass half full typ of guy though. I do however believe we should have won that game. Sometimes you need that type of game to put things into perspective though. ebonymonk
eli is garbage. dont ever compare ryan to him. if thats the best he's ever going to be we wasted our time drafting him. eli didnt win that super bowl the gmens front 4 did.Actually the pass by Eli to Burress won that game, there's no need to hate on Eli to try prop up Ryan. Let's see how Matt bounces back before we kill himto be honest no there not, eli problem was he threw WAY to many picks and was thorwing his team out of the games.... plus he would hold on to the ball to much and thats y he fumbled so much when getting sacked, his problems compared to ryans are different.... not as night and day but they are different.... eli threw the ball down field a lot.... ryans isnt throwing the ball down field, he doesnt throw his team out of a game by throwing multiple picks a game, and he doesnt hold on to the football, so this really is a bad comparison.... oh and ryan never had 20 picks in a season, i dnt see that ever happenning
madman88
The difference is Eli Manning could and still can get the ball down the field...Matt Ryan can't...it's astonishing to me how yall continue to defend this guy when it's obvious we're going nowhere with him under center...wats really astonishing is that ur basically saying that ryan is no good after only two seasons and one game in his third, i can only imagine if u was a colts fan when manning went 3-13, or a cowboy fan when aikman went 1-15.... boy im sure u would of jumped off there band wagon right then huh???? FalconinPA
The Colts were 13-3 in Manning's 2nd year, they had a first round bye and he threw for over 4,000 yards. PLEASE STOP COMPARING THIS BUM TO HOF'S AND FUTURE HOF'S!!!!!DAYUUMMMMMMMM!!!!!
