sean weatherspoon
i must add that ryan has regressed since his rookie year, but i think the problem lies with mularkey. and so does coach smith.
sean weatherspoon
seasons falling apart awfully fast for the offense, coach smith pointing the finger at mularkey, mularkey pointing the finger at ryan. i just dont see this ending well
SaintRay
I'm not saying Ryan is at fault, but once this information leaked in the press this week, Coach Smith has no choice but defend his QB. None. Any other position is asinine. But I won't completely rule this has no legs just yet... Edited September 18, 2010 by SaintRay
Aquietguy
This is a Sean Payton involved in the vicodin scandal. No legs exactly. Matty Ice is the next QB in waiting to join the elite group! And what does Sean Payton have to do with this?
joe horn
Man Mattyocre better come out of the gate tossing highlight reel TDs this Sunday or it's going to be a LONG season for RC
SaintRay
You are right about that Joe, because Week 3 looks to be another bad week for Ryan.
nolafan33
The same porous defense that held a MUCH better QB (Favre > Mattiocre) to 9 points? 17 points per game last 4 (Warner, Favre, Manning, Favre). Now that is good defense. The Falcons allowed 15 points to the great Dennis Dixon and elite Steelers offense...

nolafan33
Those points game from their defense setting up their offense. With the exception of the Mendenhall run the Falcons defense looked like it will be the best in the division hands down! Are you serious right now? The Falcons gave up 9 points to DENNIS DIXON (you know, third stringer) and the unimpressive Steelers offense. The Saints gave up 9 points to Brett Favre and the Vikings O.Not to mention the Falcons let Dixon complete 69% of his passes for 236 yards and 9 yards per attempt. If they give up those types of numbers to the below average Dixon what will they do against elite QB's?
nolafan33
Now your kidding right? Favre looked like a pathetic old rusty man against you guys which he was. You play like that against us next week and your done. If Dixon or Tavarius had been playing QB for the Vikings last week they win!Wow, just wow! What's your next dumb statement? I pray that you don't actually believe that. Edited September 19, 2010 by nolafan33
nolafan33
nola, not only do I believe it, you know it to be true.I ask you, do you think Favre was at his finest last week?No I don't, but I do know very few QB's were at their best. I also know that Brett Favre not being at his best is better than Tarvaris or Dixon's best. But, since you really believe that, up for 2 bets? nolafan33
IAt least you admit that. I bet you Favre doesn't last out the season. I bet you Tavarious would've made a difference in that game. Against old man Favre your defense was respectable, then again old man Favre wasn't. He played like a joke last week! It's rare, but I agree that Favre won't last the entire season. But your crazy if you really believe Jackson would have made a difference in that game.
