FalconPio
I have a son due late december. The mother of my child is a patriots fan and she teases me about him becoming a fan of the pats. Of course I was joking about the whole court thing but guys this is serious business. What should I do? Give her an offer?...What? I will of course do my best to implant so much falcon knowledge in him as I can. And I will also take him to games once he gets older. What should I do to secure we have a new addition to the Falcon Family? It could be way worse though. She could have been a aints fan  ....Oh wait, I would have never even talked to her if that was the case :P It is ultimately his decision but any suggestions? ltstorm2
What's it like wearing the dress in the family? Jk. The easiest way is for him to be a fan of both teams except for when they play each other.Heck I used to like Tampa Bay until they became part of our division. F the bucs though. SiViK_OuTkAsT™
You must perform inception on them both.
FalconPio
Is your wife a Tandy type Patriots fan? Or is she a fan like most women are, you know they say they like a team but really dont know **** about said team.Thats exactly what i think it is. A lil sweet talking should change her up. She is definitely not the hardcore tandy type lol

nobkowski
Use all Falcons type stuff in his mobile attached to the crib. Also, Falcon toys.As he gets older, bribes can be used.
Hatch
Let him be a falcon-pats fan, at least shes not trying to convince him being a cowgirl or even a Saints fan.
pzummo
Wait til he's old enough to understand winning versus losing. Then make his first game one he'll remember. Basically, make sure we have a good team first, and take him to a game where we will more than likely stomp the living crap out of the opponent. If he has that kind of first experience, he'll love the Falcons forever. If we are getting beat and everybody's booing them before leaving early, he'll jump ship to the Patriots.P.S. If it's the Pat's that suck and we stomp them (who knows in a few years where each team will be), he'll never think twice about what team he pulls for and he'll be hooked for every Falcon game forever. Until then, buy him jersey's, take pictures, and build memories. Good luck!
Big Zee
Congrats in advance. As for what to do, decorate his room red and black and fill it with Falcons decor!

mastershake
My situation is very similar to yours. The mother of my 10 mo. old son is also a pats fan. I made a deal with her before we knew the sex, that if it was a girl she could be a Pats fan and if it was a boy he would be a Falcons fan. I got lucky for once. Since you already know the sex, I guess it's too late for that. I would think that since he's a boy that he naturally gravitate too his fathers team. She might just be giving you a hard time. You got to be able to watch football with your son and root together. I think it's a law or something.
Hatch
If your not successful in turning your son into a falcons fan, theirs always booze or have another kid and hope its a girl.
lokifalcon55
A nice Falcon girl would be nice, but hey at least she likes football, you could have done worse. Amd remember abstinence is never the answer when it comes to intersquad sex. Congrats and when he's old enough make sure you take him to see a live game of the Falcons, the experience is always positive. Make sure they are not playing the Pats though. Ake Man
To be honest, if it's a boy, he's gonna want to be just like his Daddy and be a Falcons fan, trust me.
falconfanatic87
give him a falcon foot/claw..whatever..and it will take care of everything...lol but in all seriousness..tell him to support his moms team when they're NOT playing ATL..if they meet in the SB then you have a good problem. falken
You can't risk it. On his first birthday take him to the tattoo parlor and have him branded. Afterward take him out for ice cream and tell him that one day he will understand.Tylenol should help with the pain.
drozhenbane
First off, congrats becoming a father, it changed me in ways I couldn't even fathom back then. Second you don't need to brain wash, bribe, tattoo(Clever I might add), to get your children to be fans. People often forget that when we were young we needed a role model. A person that we could mold ourselves into to become successful. Just start with the basics, and focus every single source of energy you have at being a good father. Take them to the park, play silly games, enjoy every moment with them. Support them in everything that they do, and praise them when they do well. Don't forget to do some damage control when they screw up. An ice cream cone goes a long way to forgetting failure. If you provide them with a positive, loving, and supporting role model. There is no reason on this earth that they wouldn't "Wanna be Like Dad" when they grow up. That includes all of your likes and dislikes. Because in the eyes of a child, Dad is a true Super Hero.....I say this as someone with experience...Converted my Wife and her 2 kids(Previous Marriage), all Cowboys FansWe welcomed our first born into this world almost a year ago, and she wont goto bed without her falcons bear. And my most cherished memory.....Seeing the reaction on her ex's face. When he came to pick the girls up for his weekend visit, and they both chose to wear falcons jerseys for their weekend stay! That was last year right before we faced the cowboys.....Don't wanna talk about the game, but they did finally understand what it meant to be a "Fan".
