Dharma Initiative
They talked about how Matt zeroed in on Roddy so much and showed every miss. Then they ask 'How do you fix this problem? Hand it to this guy, Michael Turner"They proceed to show his one good run that was for 7 yards. Did they even watch the game? We handed to the guy 19 times for 44 yards. ltstorm2
Well.......... its not a bad idea to stick it in the gut of Turner. We went up against a very very good defense in Pittsburgh. We need to draft some o linemen that can punish other teams. Yeah ours guys have a lot of tenacity and go to the echo of the whistle but they're not really physical. falconsd56
come on you dont expect them to actually watch game footage do you?Its easier to get the box score and move on to the funnies.
Dem Birds
Yeah, I saw it. They are complete idiots. We're going to do that, and most of the time with success. But not against the Steelers.

E. T.
Give it to turner and norwood in the flats!!!jeez...we need to start utilizing our talent!
Tribal Chief
I think the biggest mistake was the way we started the game. He started off trying to force Tony G's 1,000 catch and over threw him every time when he could have been going to other players. He also missed alot of open receivers through out the game but we will be ok.
Osiruz
THROW TO DOUGLAS, and NORWOOD!
The Don™
Fair enough. But if the running game isn't going how we planned(it's gonna happen a few more times this season), Ryan's gotta make plays. And Matt zeroing in on Roddy is Matt's fault. To fix that problem is go through his progressions like he did in his rookie season...
blackredfellow
THROW TO DOUGLAS, and NORWOOD!^^^ This.Turner will be unstoppable in some games, but easy to stop in others. When he is not performing, we need to go to other gamechangers. Roddy and TG are the obvious ones. When the run game isnt working, throw the ball. AND NOT JUST TO RODDY AND TG. Give HD the ball!!!! falcons4life
One thing that concerned me was that it took forever to switch from Turner to Norwood and Snelling this past Sunday.Sure there were times in the past that it took Turner a little while to make a significant impact in a game but this past sunday was clearly a time when they should have changed it up sooner.Norwood, while injury prone, is still fast and elusive. Let the Steelers chase him down for a quarter THEN let Turner pound them into submission. This also works in reverse as well(start with Turner and kill them with Norwoods speed late) but realizing that Turner is not always effective is the key to a successful ground game for this team.We have to tools and talent to change things up if needed and the coaches need to be more flexible in using ALL our players if necessary. PokerSteve
Based on the offensive effort against the Steelers ~ Ryan staring down receivers from the snap; Michael Turner getting a whole lot of nothing done on running plays, an O-line which couldn't pass protect or block on running plays, questionable play calls from Mullarkey, questionable audibles from Ryan ~ add this all up and unfortunately there are waaaayyyy more question marks than exclamation points for these guys.P.S. You know how many teams that started 0-2 in 2009 went on to make the play-offs? NONE.
stlouisfalcon
Yeah, I saw it. They are complete idiots. We're going to do that, and most of the time with success. But not against the Steelers. This is what concerns me. Why not against the Steelers? If we are going to be a contender, we shouldn't be asking this question. TD had enough experience with the D's of the AFC. He should know what it takes to make a reputable D!
Firstiary
I saw this and couldn't believe how unprofessional their analysis was. Clearly, none of them watched the game or looked at the box score.
1989Fan
well, we DID throw to Norwood. 3 times. 1 catch, 2 drops.I can see why they didnt more.Polamalu would eat up any plays to them in the flats. I could see Norwood hurt on a hit from TP while trying to catch a ball.
txfalconfan
Yeah, I saw it. They are complete idiots. We're going to do that, and most of the time with success. But not against the Steelers. Why not? They did it against us. We should be able to line up and shove it down every team in the leagues throats. We just have to be more physical and open up holes. I pray they get it fixed. Don't want to see Turner looking like he did last year.
