To those crying about D. Rob on that last play

As you see he starts on the opposite side of where the run ends up. He's clearly 5-6 yards behind him at an ANGLE. Common sense would tell anyone who is complaining about this play that he was NOT gonna catch him. Mendenhall was already at the 6 when Robinson slowed up. So if you wanna blame someone for that score, please blame the guys that allowed that huge hole to get open.

Sooo.... can someone really explain what he did wrong on this play that the other 10 guys didn't do...

I can't explain it bro. I don't think he did a dam thing wrong. There was no way he could have caught buddy. Hurt or not.

Fact is 50, 28, 20, 71 and more got flat out handled by the PIT blockers.

Other than the ref complaining play, 23 had a decent game. Not really ready to give up on him yet.

Some are blaming Coleman who was playing on a bad knee. I blame the PIT Oline. A total blow out. Something our Oline never got done.

Just goin off what I saw folks.

The misfit was #20, Smith basically said it. However, I would lhave liked to see more effort coming from our highest paid defensive player.

The effort would have been acceptable from a second stringer, but from the guy you paid the bank to isn't acceptable. Get used to it D. Rob fans, he'll be scrutinized for every tiny mistake.

He chased him down full speed up until he saw it was a guaranteed TD. To me that was alot of effort. But like you said, he'll get scrutinized for every mistake.

True! He was 5 or 6 yards behind him on the north and south plane but when you calculate the angle, it was more like 10 or 11. No way he was going to catch him. There are just those people that come on here and try to blame someone for the outcome.

I'm glad he didn't re-injure that hammy while chasing him down. Lord knows what the boards would look like then. He showed great speed on that play though.

Sooo.... can someone really explain what he did wrong on this play that the other 10 guys didn't do. DeCoud was the only one that touched him

It was Coleman, not DeCoud.

What killed us was Peterson getting sealed by (i think) the tackle. that completely opened up that crease and we were finished.
