NOT SAYING THIS IS GONNA HAPPEN! But If Georgia were to win out (1 SEC East Loss) And South Carolina would only lose 2 games to Bama and Auburn (2 SEC West Loss') Who would represent the SEC East in the SEC Championship. Me and this guy at work are having a "discussion" about this. I say it would be Georgia because they would only have 1 SEC loss. He says it would be SC who has no SEC East loss'. Please help so I can either shut up or he can LOL

Unless I'm mistaken, you are right.

The first issue is overall SEC losses. I believe if there was a tie breaker, than it comes down to divisional losses.

If we both had 2, they'd go b/c of the head to head win.

Thanks. I was pretty sure there is no "Division" record. You got overall and conference

UGA would win the east in that case. There is no distinction between losses to the east teams and west teams; they all count equally. Now if there were a three way tie, it might be possible that they begin to distinguish between losses within division and losses outside the division. But that is the only way that would ever come up, I'm pretty sure. And since we've got 'Bama on our schedule I would say that we still have a harder row to hoe than you guys do.
