feelnu
Did anyone see Moore slam the punt blocker into the kick returner during the 4th Qt. Shortly after that E.Coleman was on the sideline getting some medical treatment. I was quietly hoping he'd be out a couple series to see what #25 could do. He's going to be a stud. Guest Gritz
I think as soon as he understands the mental aspects of playing SS in the NFL he'll be out there.Lord knows he has the physical part down already.......... Man, can he bring the pain. I love that.
crankdatfalcon
i wonder if willy mo would have caught mendenhall on that long TD run against the steelers??????? Lord knows, coleman couldnt.
Upstate NY Falcon
Coleman got burned more than once last week. If Willy puts a great week of practice in, look for him and Coleman to split a good share of snaps
Izo#2883
Could someone please post a link for that specific situation. I wasnt fortunate enough to watch it without delay and fallouts during the game.
bighurt
Not wanting him to be hurt seriously but I was kind of disappointed when Coleman came back so quick from the injury. I wanted see Moore for a series or two.

blackredfellow
Many people here seem to think that if Moore stays healthy, he still will not unseat Coleman. Coleman is average at best, and Moore has potential to be above average.Let's not forget the F.O. wants Moore to be in there. If he shows he can play, he will play. I dont care how "serviceable" Coleman is, our F.O. wants to see what our young guys can do.

He's going to be a stud.I would've felt much better with Moore being on the field during the 50 yard play...but it appeared that Grimes and whomever he ran into were out of position, but it took the safety a very long time to get near the play. JOEinPHX
I'm all for Moore reaching his potential and eventually becoming a starter, but Coleman had an excellent game. You can ding him for not making the play on the Mendenhall run, but it was ridiculous to have nine in the box in that situation (15 to 20 yards outside Reed's range) anyway. Coleman is not the reason the Falcons lost that game.
bighurt
Coleman is not the reason the Falcons lost that game.Well Coleman was out of position on the last play. Don't know if they sent a receiver out on the route, didn't see one. Also Coleman gave up a 50 yard play. I agree he was not the sole reason we lost the game, but he had a chance to make a play and didn't. As well as all the other guys mentioned on the 50 yard touch down run. But you can say this two plays of 50 yards in the game, and Coleman was involved in the both. I like Coleman, but I feel his is a liability in coverage just like last year. He is better than Milloy in coverage, but Milloy was a better in Run defense. I think Coleman plays better at FS, but Decoud has that on lock. I am hoping to see Moore take over eventually. ConnFalcon
I can't until this guy gets more playing time. I LOVE hard hitting safetys.
pr0d1gy
Coleman's injury most likely had a huge hand in Mendenhall's game winning TD run as Coleman looked like a lineman running after him. Moore should have been in the game at that point. You cannot leave a DB on the field with a lower body injury, even if it's a sprained ankle. ltstorm2
He would have caught him, Moore and Mendenhall run about the same forty, Moore maybe faster. You can't measure "football" speed.
bighurt
You can't measure "football" speed. With the same angle Coleman had, Moore would have caught him. You can somewhat measure football speed, guys that run 4.3 or below are really fast in pads. Sure forty gives you straight line speed. RunningThePiszOuttaTheBall
Did anyone see Moore slam the punt blocker into the kick returner during the 4th Qt. Shortly after that E.Coleman was on the sideline getting some medical treatment. I was quietly hoping he'd be out a couple series to see what #25 could do. He's going to be a stud.Yeah man. That was a big-time physical play, and it was also a big-time SMART play. Stuff like that is going to get him on the field.
feelnu
He has speed and size. On ST he was getting down feild pretty fast. I'm just waiting for that lights out tackle on a punt returner, similar to the Owens hit with more velocity and the ball flying in the air.
