Week 1 and 2

the only thing I hated about week 1 is that we are supposed to be a contender, but we couldnt even beat another contender with their 3rd string QB. Seriously? IMO we STILL should have given turner the ball 25 times. It was like Mularky ASSUMED we couldn't run the ball and just scratched that whole notion altogether. I am starting to get as fed up with him as some of the other people on this board. It's getting pathetic watching every defense waiting for us and making plays because they already know what we're up to.

All that said, I know people are sick of bickering about the Pittsburgh game, so I'm just gonna say that's a game we should have won, and we have to win those kinds of games if we're a real threat to the Saints for the division title.

Week 2: bottom line, we're at home, where we should be much more comfortable. Losing Warner, Dansby and Boldin has made Arizona weaker, but there is still some talent on both sides of the ball. Whisenhunt is a solid coach and Anderson has a lot to prove. I expect great things from our DL, Anderson may hold onto the ball too long since he has yet to get comfortable, so I think there will be some good opportunites for our DL to get some sacks. #1 thing I want to see is us at least try to throw the ball down the field. We have Douglas and White, both of those guys have great speed and can pose some matchup problems for Arizona. It will also make Arizona a little more hesitant to stick 8 guys in the box the whole game. I still can't figure out why this offense refuses since the end of 2008 to create a deep threat when we have the QB and receivers to do it, but hopefully that changes beginning this coming sunday.

I am sorry for not replying under your quote. Struggling tonight using the "quote" button.

I have to agree with a lot of what you say. We are predictable on offense. I would like to see us let it go some and live on the edge. The loss has created a sense of urgency this week. That being said, it was not their 3rd string QB that beat us, it was their defense. Our D did not play bad until the last play of the game imo.

I am one that believes in this team. I can't wait to rock the dome on Sunday!

our offense better mix up the play-calling or rodger-cromartie will jump all over our one play that we use in the passing game...he likes to gamble an awful lot so if we don't try and get him on some double moves and throw at least one or two deep balls i will be disappointed but first things first lets run the ball down their throats and prove that we are a physical team
