blkbigdog35
I think the DC will be fine but MM has to go, very soon.I think MM has to open up the playbook and use our weapons to their strengths. We have to believe that he is going to figure this out!!

PokerSteve
Mullarkey has been given enough offensive talent and plenty of time to prove himself as offensive coordinator. It's time Falcon management admit he simply doesn't have the guts or creativity to put the pieces together and come up with winning offensive game plans.I truly believe if the Falcons were somehow able to get every super-star offensive player in the league signed up to their roster, that if they kept Mullarkey as offensive coordinator the offense would still SUCK. You almost hope the Falcons finish 32nd in the league in all offensive categories this year so the organization will have no choice but to fire him, because otherwise it looks like he's here to stay no matter how miserable the offense performs every game, every season. Yeah, he's THAT terrible.
raysnill1
I refuse to believe that another coordinator would take Roddy, Gonzo, Douglas, Norwood, Turner, heck at times even Eric Weems and not figure out that they need routes that allow them to catch the fricken ball in stride. we are wasting so much speed doing come backs and out routes. he also needs to spread out the formations. people complaining about Turner tiptoeing, heck if you got 8 blockers in front of you with 9 men plowing into them, it's gonna be hard to find a hole. a screen pass or 2 would have killed the Steelers Sunday. I'm not happy with Mularkey, but hey I'm not writing the checks

On the flip side of that, doesn't it make you wonder how much better we could have been if he spread the ball around and stretched the field a little bit? I love what we have going on, don't get me wrong; he!! call me greedy if you'd like but with the weapons that we have we should be taking at least 5-7 shots downfield a game. Did we even take one at all on Sunday? I cant really recall to be honest. Even if we did, it just shows how forgetful it was. Gamble a little bit here and there. But that's just me. birdonawire
Ryan changes a lot of plays so you can't blame all the calls on the OC.
Bring It
I think any SANE person would agree that if we hypothetically had Sean Payton as our OC the Falcons would be a far more explosive, imaginative, and dangerous team offensively. And.............TONS more successful.Payton as an OC would be a Porsche or Ferrari............Mularkey is a Toyota Minivan.End of story. Mid-Nite-Toker
I voted yes for a new OC but it won't happen. I just hope Ryan will get to call what plays we do have an orchestrate the Off. Give Ryan the keys to the car...well an antique car(MM playbook).

Mid-Nite-Toker
Heck here is an idea...How about the friggin players execute the plays that are called...Agreed. The OC should also do something to hide his intentions. Troy P. was all over that play because we ran it so many times...Stevie Wonder saw that play coming. Can we ever see a true rb screen(o-line pulling) with Norwood or Snelling? I swear Atl is the only team that thinks the play can't work. vabchbirdlover
No offense, but this is the 16th thread dedicated to MM in the past few days. Is is neccessary to start another one? Why not voice your displeasure in one of the previous ones?
TeamPlayer1
How about this idea? If Mularkey doesn't engineer 2 30Yd plus pass plays this week, he's fired! The rest of the year, any game without at least 1 30 yd pass play, he's fired! Put into an addendum to his contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

blizzard_falcon
I didn't want Mularkey when we HIRED him, and I sure don't want him anymore. I'd offer the job to Musgrave and see what he can do with the offense...
