Stepdaddy
The offense is going to explode this week against the Cardinals. Turner will have 120-140 yds and 1-2 TDs and will the sudden "look fast" again to some. Matt will throw 1-2 TD and have 200-260 yds in the air and look "sharper and more composed". I really believe we faced the best defense we will see all year by a longshot on sunday. If the offense struggles this week then we may have some serious problems, but I dont see it ATL 31 AZ
Cardinal2010
That is your opinion but I do not see y'all scoring 31 on us. Our pass rush is just about the same as the Steelers and our secondary is getting dangerous.

Our pass rush is just about the same as the Steelers and our secondary is getting dangerous.I agree with you actually. You aren't beating us at home, but 31 is a tall order against, what I consider, a very solid defense. The only way we get 31 is if DA throws multiple INT's putting us in great field position. If they beat us, it will not be a blow out.
Cardinal2010
lol how is yall's pass rush the same as the steelers when yall "barely" took care of a rookie QB, and the rams???We gave up 13 points, our defense has NOTHING to do with what the offense did. We have injuries, meanwhile y'all don't and struggled with a Steelers team.

FalconMama
Last time we faced the Cardinals they held Michael Turner to 42 yards with 18 carries and 1 TD. They've lost a few defensive pieces since then but I think 120-140 is a reach. Not saying that it can't happen but the offensive line is going to have to block better. Whoever's facing Dockett this week needs to man up.We win 21-18.

Cant say the same for yall.. The cards will be a non factor now that kurt warner is gone. I wish yall would of kept matt lionhart and he was the starter. Turner's number can't help but go up. He won't be held to just 2.2 per carry because of that he'll get more carries. More carries for Turner also means that Ryan won't probably won't put it up as much, and that would probably mean less than the 252 against Pitt. Guest Gritz
I agree with the original poster.......I posted the day of the Steeler game (after we lost) that the Cardinal game was a statement game for us and that it would be 31-17-Falcons win.I still believe that. Captain Falcon
Their defense is average and there offense is good with the exception that I think Derek Anderson is absolutely only a #2 QB. As much as I like the Cards, I think having no QB will ruin their playoff hopes. I like the Falcons in this game: 23-17.

The O.D.B
This game will be very telling for a coaching perspective. We could blow the Cards out big...........but will the coaches try to?? My guess is no. I think the coaches will see gambling or trying to win big as leaving the possibility of loosing on the table by being reckless. When our coaches come to the realization that we could lose game 3 in NO and be 0-3 they will again become conservative and decide to slowly and methodically win this game. Final if the Coaches go conservative = 17-14 (Cardinals last minute drive to win it)Final if the coaches go have fun / nut up = 41-6 (Falcons Demoralize a hurting Cards team) Edited September 14, 2010 by The O.D.B

Glad to see a few people around here watched the actual game and can think clearly. Especially Matt ... people will say he "looks in command of the offense", and that our offense "knocked the rust off" and "started clicking." (When the truth is, we played a "absolutely phenomonal defense" last week, and we gave them a good fight).
LickenKittens
I love homer "lets go guys" threads. What's more likely? You'll probably have a better game offensively and you'll probably win cause Anderson is poo poo. Work your problems out this week cause after that you'll defense will really be tested. I look forward to making Mike Smith break another headset.
