Aren't the excuses of hostile environment, strong opposing d being thrown out all over when explaining ices performance yesterday so wouldn't that fit with joes game? But I'm sure it won't and you'll say stats don't matter and all you care about is w's and as I write this the ravens are moving the ball with the lead and will win this game

I didn't see the pit atl game but the jets r bringing the house every play. Flacco doesn't have time for shot

Speaking of poise and calm. Flacco is Hanging in the pocket without worry.

wow the excuses pile in for flacco, but not matt ryan from a saints fan, ryan was playing the number 1 defense from 08, that actually won something a superbowl, with the number 1 saftey, and olb in harrison. hypecrit.

Well **** brees played the best defense in 06 and did well.

Ryan got showed up by dennis Dixon. Dixon completed close to 65% of his passes.

Bottom line you loss and flacco won.

I think this is the year that Flacco puts some massive separation between himself and Ryan in terms of performance on the field.

Since Falcon fans love to bring up Ryan's overall record as an indication as to why he's great and better than most, I'd like to bring up that Flacco has taken his team into the playoffs every year he has started for them. He actually has some playoff wins under his belt.

That may happen.

You can't argue that Flacco led his team to the playoffs the past two seasons though. That was all defense and running game.

Oh I know. I'm just trying to get it across that the qb is not the one solely responsible for the success or failing of a team.

Both guys are still learning. Ravens are trying to get Flacco everything he needs with the signing of Q and Whoseyomama. Falcons did the same thing by getting Tony G. Both being on a run first team, we may have to wait another 2 or 3 years before we really see what these guys are about.

I don't know about Flacco, but that Schaub guy is the one I would keep my eye on if I were a Falcon fan. That may come back to haunt the Falcons in a bad way.

You mean another great QB that Atlanta has traded away??? Color me surprised! :D

No but really I think Schaub will be good maybe great.... but he was let go while he still had some worth, not knowing the Vick debacle was just around the corner. -_-

4 less yards on 7 less completions in 6 less attempts.

If Joe completed as many passes as Matt he'd have thrown for about 330 yds.

If Matt had completed as many as Joe he would have thrown for about 186 yds.

The ravens were more successful against last seasons best D on Monday night in that teams home opener in their new stadium.

ryan had a higher completion percentage on more attempts, and stop with the "IF' stuff, "if" peyton manning wouldnt have thworn a pick 6 in the superbowl, we may be talking about him being the greatest of all time and falcons would be haven the last laugh at the expense of the saints.

You sure are touchy on the ice subject. Wasnt the whole atlanta off season about all these ifs? Now that the truth is being put on tape about the savior of your franchise you keep moving the goal posts to fit your current argument and you're right no more ifs Matt failed on his comeback attempt and flacco won, and we all saw the play before you start trying to bring Tony into the conversation.

moving goal post? to fit my argument? i didnt do anything but post matt ryan and joe flacco's stats, and stated that ryan had a better completion percentage, your the one that started the what if's to make flacco look better then ryan. i would also like to add that matt ryan played against that same jets defense last year, the number 1 defense in the NFL and won the game. so what did flacco do last night that ryan hasnt already done? and denis dixon is better then mark sanchez so dont even start on the 3rd string qb crap

Especially when you watched them play the last real game of the season, while your own team was sitting home, wondering why the Gillette commercials dried up.

trust me, the saints had the last laugh win the falcons lost the superbowl...i laughed my *** off when the panthers lost the superbowl... when my team is sitting at home my favorite team is who ever is playing an NFC south opponent. there for if they lose i get the last laugh.

any time a nfc south team loses i get the last laugh, even when the falcons lose, knowing that panthers lost makes me laugh. knowing that the carolina panthers fans, hate the falcons fans so bad because they have traded away better qb's then the panthers have ever had is funny...the panthers whole organization is a joke ,

i get an extra kick out of you, you hate matt ryan so bad that you cant stand it, ive never ever seen you give him props for having a good game, or back your hatred up with solid facts. you hate him so bad that when i was under another user name last year, you guaranteed Matt moore was better QB

it gets under your skin that the falcons have better qb's then the panthers, well i dont know why, you dont hate josh freeman and he's better then any qb on the panthers roster

my question is, why hate matt ryan? he's only 24 years old he is respectful to the panthers team and fans. he isnt the best qb in the world, but he's good for his age and expeirence level, yet you wanna throw him in the mark sanchez and jamarcus russle category. drew brees is 7-1 against the falcons in the last 4 years and is on the falcons most hated rivalry, and i dont even hate him as bad as you do matt ryan.

i also find your user name very funny, only a panther fan would name him self NFCS champs like its something to be proud of,, i got news for you bro, the NFCS is one of the most inconsistant divisions in the NFL your user name suggests that you think winnig the division is bragging rights...i swear no team no other division in the NFL celebrates division titles. go to a patriots message board you wont find a poster named 2010 nfc east champs, because there are 8 teams that win there division every year, it means nothing, other then you get a home playoff game.
