birdonawire
are being blamed for bad plays, play calls or whatever. Why has noone mentioned that "the Beerman" was terrible in run defense. He got push around all day on run plays, the winning TD was ran right through his gap responsibility. He took himself out of a screen play by knifing inside and not recognizing the screen in the 1st quarter. All of the big runs were done right at him, he is a liability in the run defense and Pitt knew it. That is why he should be used primarily as a pass rusher and not be starting. Dem Birds
Can't really argue in favor of his effectiveness yesterday. He didn't do a whole lot.

He didn't do a whole lot.that is the reason I say he should not start. He is more effective coming in as a situational player being out there on 1st downs not only wers him down but he is not strong enough against the run.
