Bring It
We can all rant and rave about the current Falcon team, the coaching staff, the entire franchise............including these "part time" boards. It all boils down to these simple truths. The key word here is TRUTH.The Falcons can and will beat most teams at home. With 2 or 3 exceptions we can handle anybody in the Dome, even with 8 to 9,000 weekly no shows, thousands arriving 30 minutes late and thousands leaving early............ at sold out games. Forget beating Drew Brees here or anywhere, it ain't gonna happen, not with our coaching staff and inevitable player mistakes. On the road..............total different story. The Falcons can not and/or will not beat ANY quality team on the road. Period. We go into those games "Hoping" to win. The opponent comes out on the field smiling, KNOWING they will win.Huge difference. We are YEARS away from that kind of confidense and swagger. Years. So, enjoy what you can, but be aware of the Truths.
Rai
At home, we're almost invincible. I expect 8-0 this year in the Georgia Dome, 6-2 would be a disappointment.

I expect 8-0 this year in the Georgia Dome, 6-2 would be a disappointment.Early on (May-June) I thought we'd beat Brees and the Saints here. After mediocre exhibition summer games I had some doubt. After losing to a 3rd string QB in Pittsburgh and having a toothless offense, there is ZERO chance we beat the Saints.................here or there. Two totally different level teams. Not even close any more.

Not even close any more. You mean the same Brees that beat the falcons by 3 points in the dome last year with a "toothless offense" that was missing Ryan and Turner? What happened yesterday has ZERO impact on when we play the saints.btw the saints did not look that much better then the falcons, they were playing a beat up secondary at hime and scored a whopping 5 more points, and had an astonishing 15 more yards.Dallas only scored 7,The vikes vs saints only scored 9last year the colts only scored 14 opening week.As usual people WAY overreact to one week. Most 3rd string qbs do not have superbowl caliber defenses . THAT is what we lost too, not the steelers offense.
