FightonFalcons
I guess we can't compare us to the Colts, but who can we be compared to?

Peyton
I think the team that the Falcons most closely compare too is the Cowboys from the nineties. The difference is that our young defense hasn't quite proven it yet. Also, the NFL has changed quite a bit since 1995, when that team won it's last Super Bowl. So, it'll be interesting to see how far this team goes with this build. But that is who the team reminds me of.
bossFALCON™
the steelers in 04-07. our D just isn't that good yet, but i think it'll be much improved.
The O.D.B
I would reluctantly say the Bengals. High powered offense, Good Defense, could beat anyone on any given day,Single standout WR, great running back, recent playoff appearance, but overall unproven. We and they have to prove something this year. I hope we get to prove ourselves by seeing them in this SB.

However, I believe our talent, league status and potential matches up very well. And while I agree that TO should be a standout in Cinci he's akin to HD in that HD has allot to prove and TO needs to prove he can still be a factor. I still think they are the closest match to us. Heck we could probably swap uniforms with them and most wouldn't notice, although a few would pickup on and wonder about Biermans chocolaty new tan. hahah

SnowfaLL
you wanna know why the Bengals D > our D?? Mike Zimmer.. He was a genius, and I wish we somehow kept him on as D Coord, even though I know Blank wanted to clean house (and he was right..)but ****.. Zimmer turned that crappy Bengals D into a top D, just like he was doing with us when he was here.. That guy, along with Greg Williams (as much as I hate to admit it) are the top 2 D Coordinators in the league right now.

Most know I've been one of BVG's harshest critics on here. But now, it seems like maybe he has the talent and the pieces to develop a top 10 defense. I liked what I saw him doing w/the blitz packages in preseason. Zimmer is no slouch, though. I would've been content w/them keeping him around as well. Not sure he's top 2 in the league, though lol....
