Billy Ocean
Seriously, is that really Rambo out there these past 2 weeks? Between his blown coverage on the 60yd td last week and his tackling & positioning this week... he's playing with the worst attributes of Bryan Evans & 2008 Reshad Jones. Our OL plays like they didn't put in enough time in the weight room. USAF HART
I don't know why Rambo took so many plays off this week. I can almost gaurantee that it caught the attention of the DC whose name escapes me at the moment. When you get called out on national TV, you know your head coach and DC will see it. Don't be surprised to see one of two things next week:1.) Rambo on the bench for lack of hustle2.) Rambo going Rambo on the opposing team because a fire was lit under him. ChuyDawg
Rambo was a huge disappointment today. He was getting dragged by a true freshman running back, standing around on key plays, and gave up on a ball he could have easily intercepted. You can't blame the new scheme because he lacked the basic fundamentals that you learn in HS.His position should be up for competition, he was the last person I thought I would say this about. Billy Ocean
I just don't understand Rambo's regression. I was used to our players getting worse the longer they played under the old regime. That being said, I still believe in Rambo in a way I never believed in Bryan Evans. Rambo looked soft today. I bought into the hype this offseason about our safeties being big hitters but that doesnt seem to be the case. Rambo doesnt seem interested and Jakar looks more like a corner to me. Maybe Ogletree is the answer.

Maybe Ogletree is the answer.I bought into it too. People were comparing them to Blue and Thomas, unbelievable. UGA has been known for having safeties that will come up and knock you on your azz. I am still waiting to see when we get safeties like that again.
sdogg
Rambo and our OL(run blocking) has been very disappointing.
American Dream
According to Junkyard Blawg- Veron haynes called Rambo out via twitter: “[i'm] usually not [negative] on players but #18 that was not UGA football!! We hit hard EVERY PLAY.” I think Rambo has way too much pride to take the criticism from former players, the commentators, teammates, and coaches lying down. I think he will be a man possessed the rest of the season....at least I'm hoping. And why not play Nick Williams more, especially when it was apparent Rambo and Jakar were bringing nothing to the run defense? Nick is one of the fiew players I think could've dealt with Lattimore 1 on 1.
USAF HART
Bring back Sean Jones please. ****, bring back Hines Ward and put that beast in at safety. He would absolutely tear someones face off. Wish he would have shown that fire that he shows in the NFL when it comes to lighting players up. He might have played both sides of the ball for us. Dog River
Rambo did take a brutal head shot last season...maybe he hasn't gotten over it. His play looked to me to be the play of someone whose head wasn't clear.

It wouldn't be the first time a player had trouble being aggressive after a head/neck injury. Edited September 11, 2010 by CalDawg
Ransack
Both safeties played like ***. Rambo was somewhere other than Columbia and Jakar whiffed on more than a handful of tackles... I mean completely whiffed.

Too bad about Banks, he would definitely pop you.
