SacFalcFan
They have zero excuses if they don't win tomorrow. They got 2 of their guys back thanks to the NCAA (uga fans knew this would happen weeks ago. the ncaa would wait til our game and clear those guys) while they take away AJ Green from UGA. South Carolina should win tomorrow with UGA missing it's best player.
tjb
I'm actually glad they're at pretty much full strength. It will feel that much better when we beat them.. :P But seriously, I think this is going to be one heck of a game. I can't wait.

But we're still missing the qb of our defense; the man Ellis Johnson called the most important guy because he got everyone in the right spots before the snap, Shaq Wilson. And we will also be down Antonio Allen, our starter at Spur. Then one of our starting DT's will have to play limited snaps because of a broken hand as well. Getting our two guys back is a very big deal; no doubt. But depth is something we have not yet developed and we are limping into this game with some questions on the DL and at LB as well. If you oline plays to their best ability, you guys might be able to wear us out due to various health issues.

Games in the SEC are tight enough the missing one of the half dozen best players in the country can cause you to lose a game on the road. Mr Pickle1
Who are you saying is our best player; Culliver...?Yeah, I guess that's what he was saying. I don't agree with him, though. A. Jeffrey is your best player. Culliver is a top 5 player for you though.

Just b/c AJ was suspended, doesn't mean we can't replace him... :P This "freaking" player just so happens to be the best at his position in all of college football and probable top 5-10 pick in the NFL. So, yeah, losing him hurts. With that being said, you won't hear any excuses from me if we do lose.I will agree with you I don't like the "new" look of the boards... CalDawg
its still just freaking player there are 10 other players on the field, no excuse if uga loses really.EDIT: i really hate the boards look right now and i meant to say its 1 freaking player and the rest is goodThere are excuses, and then there are reasons. UGA has no excuses if we lose to USC, because AJ broke the rules and he brought this upon himself and his team. It's just the same as if he played a bad game, IMO. But losing our best offensive threat, our most dependable weapon who commands attention from the defense on every play, that could certainly be a reason we lose this game. If we lose by two touchdowns, he probably wouldn't have mattered. But if we lose by one score, it's not unreasonable to say AJ may have been the reason we lost. Cable Guy
To me the games without AJ should give us a look at how teams will play us next year and give us a look into how we will play the next few years with Murray and these WRs. Also it will allow him to find his own favorite target for the next few years. Since AJ will be gone after this year.
