And if you don't happen to have a center wheel on your mouse- control+ enlarges, control- shrinks

I will say that falconbob's suggestion to do that, made a difference.

However, it's also a matter of principle.

OK, guys. I hear you. And I heard you last night. Again, I'll reiterate what I said last night, but this is something that is far over my head. Sometimes, I'll be in situations where I will just be powerless. This is one of those situations. And again, at the end of the day, I'm a content guy (creating and deciding on stories, videos, etc.). But I am willing to listen to your concerns and let you guys know that your voices are being heard by someone in the building.

Again, the last thing I want to have is unhappy fans and message boarders, but this is so far out of my control and way above my pay grade.

What I will tell you, and please go tell it on the mountain so as many people know as possible, is that this format is temporary. How temporary, I'm not sure. From what I hear, there was some sort of contractual obligation for the ad you're now seeing in your top right corner.

Just the messenger here. I had and have nothing to do with these changes. I'm not an ad guy. Never have been, never will be, so I won't pretend to understand the decision to change things here.

This format change also has nothing to do with the redesign of the website. This just happens to occur a day before we flip the switch on the new site, which will go live tonight. And as I said last night, the hosting, design and general upkeep have nothing to do with us. The hosting is done by the NFL and everything else is handled by an outside vendor.

While I really, really wish I could provide more for you guys in this situation to at least temper the ire, please understand that there are limitations to my job and what I can and can't do. The last thing I want is unhappy fans, and I know how important this board is to all of you. But again, this format change is temporary, from everything I'm hearing.

And for the comment about the current site still being up, we will make the switch late tonight to cause as few problems accessing it as possible. In my opinion, the new site that will launch tonight is vastly superior to the old site that everyone seems to want to switch back to. Give it a chance before you judge it. You'll be able to navigate with ease, find everything you're looking for and, in my personal opinion, it's a sexier looking site than the old site. Just my two cents.

But as far as the boards go, I hear your pleas, your concerns and anger. The only thing I can do is listen to it. There's nothing more I can do. But keep in mind: temporary.

I just find it VERY WEIRD that this change occured right before the Weekend of the start of the NFL season. I think the timing is a little suspicious. Especially when the NFL knows that most fans are going to be pouring in here by the thousands.

I think This is only "temporary" until the end of the season. It will probably go back to normal after the Superbowl, if that.

I know, right? There's like 5-6 Official In-Game Threads!! Some from last year! I did look thru the recent topics and saw nothing of interest. -_-

In fact, I'm probably going to make 99% of my posts in the threads that are discussing the board format, or boycotting advertisers, etc.... from now until they do something to fix it.
