The Falcon Jedi
Other than that 1st TD drive - which was very impressive - I didnt see anything from New Orleans other than a very imbalanced offense, a fg kicker who cant make a fg, and a defense that stopped a 40 yr old QB who had no-one to throw to.I wasnt impressed. The Falcons have a better, faster Defense than the Vikings, and a better Offense than the Vikings, with many more weapons on both sides of the ball.I wont mention the referees, but there were some questionable calls favoring the home team.As it stands now, we are trailing the Saints in the Division, and we havent played a game yet. The Steelers game just became 2X more important now. We have to win this Sunday.
AF89
IMO (****** officiating aside)Saints look good but not great. They're defense still looks solid (with respects to Brett Farve but it might be time to hang it up). Also, it felt like their offense was just a play away from marching down feild. All in All I'd say the Saints are as dangerous as ever (talent wise) but don't quite have everything put togther yet. Hopefully someone can make them pay. The Falcon Jedi
We match up well against them. The Vikings looked just old and slow, and their secondary was horrible.
Mathis81WR
Vikes have no power backs. Lets see those aholes stop Turner. Oh wait, the refs will just call holding nevermind

And after seeing the way NO's guards threw the Williams guys around, I hope our DTs can handle them.
BadMoonRising
This is jsut the first game of the seaon, we still have no idea who these teams are or will be after the stretch. The game was sloppy on both sides, and the refs where terriable. Its tough to keep focus in a game you feel like your playing against two teams.

Dem Birds
I'm sure their offense will probably look better by week 3, but yes, I wasn't impressed and I know we can beat them even IN New Orleans.

They scored a TD in 2 minutes through the air to start the game, and ran the ball great in the second half. What are you smoking? If you don't think NO has an incredible offense, you're nuts. Remember what they did on offense last year?Their defense covered pretty well, and it's not just because Favre is 40 and his top weapon wasn't there. Give credit where it's due.I agree that we should have a better offense than the Vikings did tonight. We'll see about our defense; our defensive unit has to prove itself. That pick six just before half time in the first game should not have happened. Vilma laid Roddy out before the ball got close to him and Porter picked it off. It was SO obvious. That's when I knew we were going to be screwed.
BnG
Its only week 1. Drops and the missed FGs killed the offense on some drives but those are all correctable. Defense was already known to be suspect against the run, but if the offense fixes its problems then teams will be too far behind to run. They did a good job for the most part against the pass and not letting Favre come back in the 2nd half to take the lead, considering Sharper and Casillas are gone. Slow start, but glad to start 1-0. Its still too early for anyone to make predictions but its going to be a competitive year this season with the Falcons. Looking forward to it. nolafan33
A win is a win, but alot of points left on the field tonight for the Saints. Atleast 2 drops that should have resulted in TD's, maybe even a third. Hartley was off tonight.Defensively, we played a great game. Offense penalties and drops really hurt us.Alot of missed opportunities tonight, no doubt that will be fixed though.

Firstiary
NO ran the football 3 times in the 1st Half. That is pretty imbalanced.Ridiculous. They passed so often because that's what they decided to do, not because they have no running game. They ran the ball often and well in the 2nd half. They do not have an imbalanced offense. They have a very good offense. Even if you want to call their offense imbalanced--and it isn't--it's still very good. They were #4 in passing yards and #6 in rushing yards last season. Not imbalanced.

paulitik
I feel like our D was built this off-season to beat them. After tonight I'm feeling very good. We have the speed the Vikes D didn't. I even think our secondary matches up well. I know we are still nervous about the secondary, but I think we match up well. Our DLine and Linebackers are quick enough to get to Brees.Michael Turner is going to have a field day, and TG and HD will rack up on receptions. I'm so glad I'm going to both games. Firstiary
The beauty is, their guards handle the big boys, but not the quick ones. Our DTs will be shooting gaps, not clogging them. That's what our guys do best, that's why we have them, and honestly, it should disrupt everything about their offense.Bushrod did an insane job against Allen though, so JA55 and Kroy have their work cut out for them over there. We're going to need the pressure from the 2 DTs and the LBs to really get to Brees.Great points. I agree about our DEs. I'm not expecting too much from them, but hopefully it will be fun to watch our DTs and LBs. Our secondary is going to be tested, too, but I have a feeling we'll be prepared for their passing game. Not that we'll stop it, but maybe we can make some big plays.
didz
Falcons have to throw the deep ball and run the ball hard. On defense, the Falcons need to stop the run and not be afraid to blitz. It's going to be tough to blitz with the Saints running screens all the time, but the defense needs to adjust.
