sporkdevil
Chevis Jackson-DB- Falcons Sep. 7 - 8:33 pm etThe Ravens reportedly worked out free agent CB Chevis Jackson on Tuesday. If there's a cornerback with a solid pedigree available, chances are the Ravens will be interested. Considering Baltimore's depth issues, the 68th overall pick in the 2008 draft is at least worth a tire-kicking.$10,000,000 they don't sign him. It's not cause I'm a hater, it's just cause he can't play any corner position.
duncja
I think he'll get on somewhere, I just hope it isn't them.
paulitik
I wish the best for him, but I'm still crossing my fingers he's the starter by the time Thursday Night Football starts! He's the anti-Ed Reed.
BadMoonRising
Meh I was hoping he might land somewhere after a year off with some time to focus on football. He is more talented then he has displayed the last two years and he really needs to get back on track to progress.

BadMoonRising
Put him at FSI thought about that to, but his tackling has been almost as suspect as his coverage.

(Dam I sound football savvy ... but you know where I learned it from:) )I have no idea what you are talking about.I'm pretty sure no one will pay him to be a severely below average nickel. Even the corner hungry ravens (THAT'S RIGHT MICHAEL LOMBARDI!) won't sign him.
JKH5785
Chevis may actually play pretty decent in their system. who knows, that seems to be the going luck for the Falcons.
FalconinPA
Put him at FSI was thinking more like parking lot attendant. Maybe the Ravens are using him to show their corners how not to play or how you can have so much potential and it not amount to anything. sporkdevil
Foxworth wasn't impressive last year, and he seemed pretty good for us in 08 so I might have to disagree with you there. He was somewhat impressive there. I didn't watch a bunch of Baltimore games, but I think he was a reasonable help. He's a pretty good corner, but not some elite player. However, Ravens had a slew of great corners leave due to age/injury/ineffectiveness. Foxy was important to their defense. If only Chevis could have gotten through his contract, and signed a big contract elsewhere, so we could have gotten another 3rd round compensatory draft pick. FalconFanSince1970
Roddy, TG, Jenkins, HD, Fin or Weems would light him up. Bring him on. He's joining a banged up suspect secondary after being cut from a secondary that was worse the last two years. If Chevis shuts down Roddy I quit folks. I ain't kiddin. All dude did was show some potential his rookie year. Since then, nothing. No way he could cover Roddy.

Dem Birds
Chevis will get on somewhere and be a solid player eventually. We just had guys that were ahead of him at this point.
SportsFreak
IMO (and u should know i think he is terrible on the track) he is NOT the worst corner on the team. U guys dont get to see what I see but Franks is worst than Chevis. I honestly believe Franks is still on the team b/c he just got drafted this year. Chevis played out of position the entire preseason. He lost his job to Owens. When Grimes took the other corner spot, Owens got the nickel spot. IMO Chevis can play nickel, not better than Owens, but better than Franks, and as corners, Id give the advantage to Chevis. I do have my reasons for my opionion but I wont say them out of respect for the cry babies that cant always handle the truth.
The Falcon Jedi
Wherever Chevis ends up at, he will only be a Nickel Back at best. I wish him the best.
