Big Zee
I believe the official injury report comes out Wednesday but my gut feeling is that he'll be ready to play.
bossFALCON™
haven't heard a thing since he was injured from smitty. finneran said he was progressing well and that was sometime last week. "progressing well" doesn't really tell much though....they're so mum about it i'm kind of worried. jenkins would really help out there. The Falcon Jedi
I doubt he will be active. Im thinking Game 2 before he becomes available.
vagus_x
He will be listed as questionable on the injury report come Wednesday. He will be a game time decision I think.

I am not a huge michael Jenkins fan nor do I think he is very good. But lets be honest we need him out there. I think our team is really lacking firepower. I also think Ryan tries to focus in too much on tony G and roddy and teams pick up on that in a hurry.
Derek J
Def not my favorite Falcon, but we do need him as the # 2 receiver this week. And this is also another reason Mier's injury is so bad....
Dem Birds
Jenkins is better than Finn at this point in his career so I'd rather Jenks be ready to go. Since we still aren't 100% sure what we'll get out of Douglas.

Speaking of douglas.... does anyone know who are kick and punt returners are? douglas? norwood? Weems? anyone??

I heard Finn say, on Face to Face, that it was a collarbone injury
RunningThePiszOuttaTheBall
Every timeline any official source has ever provided had him out for at least the first game, and possibly longer. I remember hearing 6 weeks as the outside time frame I think. So I think he's highly unlikely for game 1.
ATLUGA87
I hope he is! never know this could be his breakout year!

madman88
well i wouldnt be surprised if we held him out this week, to get a look at our other WRs as well, they been overly cautious this whoel ofseason, y not now?

madman88
They was overly cautious because it was the preseason.... This is the season.it doesnt matter, i still think even if someone was to get hurt during the season ,there not going to rush them back like they did turner and risk getting hurt more.... Photofalcon
I doubt Jenkins plays, but I would like to see more of Turner in the passing like they promised in camp.Norwood too for that matter.

Since we still aren't 100% sure what we'll get out of Douglas.Yep Jenkins for me I still think Douglas has a fair way to go from being our starting No.2 receiver,he's still a important part of our offense though especially on 3rd down. Peyton
I don't think dude is even back to practicing full speed, so there is no way he is going to play Sunday. I'd be surprised if we see him prior to week 3.

BadMoonRising
exactly jenkins is way better than finn.I wish that was true.I think White is about the only reciever on our roster who stands ou at the moment, with HD on the move.
